July 22, 201511 yr Chapman brings more trade value than anyone because the team that gets him controls him for 2 years. Leake has trade value because the team that gets him can sign him a lot easier than the team that gets Cueto. Cueto only has max value if the team trades for him is sure that they can sign him and is willing to part with good players in order to do so.

He'd still be a free agent at the end of the year and have plenty of bidders if it weren't a long term injury. If it were a long term injury why would the Reds want to sign him even at a discount?

July 23, 201511 yr wondered if it might me an elbow issue that might take a while to heal.... a year or so. that would be enough to scare most teams away who are looking for immediate help and most would be leery in FA as well.
