July 16, 201511 yr I like Cowherd. Can't listen everyday, but I turn it on when I want sports talk, especially in the fall. Fox Sports seems to be upping their game. I've had FS1 on a lot lately due to soccer, and I've been sticking around for their nightly highlights show and it's pretty good. Never thought to flip back to ESPN. Agreed. Although I don't really watch Fox's highlight show on purpose without it being on after a sport I'm watching. Fox is spending big money on acquiring properties lately and for the first time I can remember, ESPN isn't getting whatever they want for the price they want.
July 16, 201511 yr I guess I'm one of a minority that likes Cowherd. I wish him well. You aren't in the minority, not only do I love his show, but he does VERY well in most markets he is in (including Cincinnati).
July 16, 201511 yr Love Cowherd's show. He has hinted a lot lately about going more social with a radio gig and maybe getting away from sports. I think he is also moving to LA. This could also be a result of the cuts ESPN is trying to make. I also really like Dan le Batard's show in the afternoon. However I think he's suspended just about every other week.
July 16, 201511 yr Mickey Mouse wants them to cut upwards of 300 million in 2 years, ESPN is hurting.

July 16, 201511 yr Mickey Mouse wants them to cut upwards of 300 million in 2 years, ESPN is hurting. I thought it was 30 million, 300 million and you are talking about some real money :lol2:
July 16, 201511 yr I found it interesting that Disney charges ESPN $40 million to lease the studio that the Olberman Show was in and that Mike and Mike was going to move to. Maybe with some internal money management they could make the needed cuts without damaging the product.
July 16, 201511 yr With all of the talent that ESPN is losing are we going to be forced to see and hear Jason Whitlock more? :bag:
July 16, 201511 yr I thought it was 30 million' date=' 300 million and you are talking about some real money :lol2:[/quote'] It's bad, ESPN also charges cable companies around $6.00, while TBS and TNT are around $2 dollars.
July 16, 201511 yr It's bad, ESPN also charges cable companies around $6.00, while TBS and TNT are around $2 dollars. I watch ESPN Channels 3 times as much so that seems about right!
July 16, 201511 yr He is to whiny for my taste. You can tell he always needs to be patted on the back. Comes off as arrogant. He seems like that little kid who was beat up for his lunch money everyday in school. He's a weenie. Probably the best analysis of Cowturd I've heard.
July 17, 201511 yr He is to whiny for my taste. You can tell he always needs to be patted on the back. Comes off as arrogant. He seems like that little kid who was beat up for his lunch money everyday in school. He's a weenie. Great description
July 17, 201511 yr I love Cowherd. Best show in sports radio and it's not even close IMO. Looks like I'll have no reason to listen to 1530 anymore. Going to have to figure out what Fox Sports is on the dial. Did Dan Patrick retire ?
July 17, 201511 yr I really like Cowherd and will miss his show. He says things that make you think. I like that. I find it interesting that I have heard him talk about others who have left ESPN and have wished they didn't later. I am sure he is getting a hefty pay increase to go. Also, he is a west coast guy so I am sure going to LA is very appealing to him. Who will take his place???
