When I was a kid it always puzzled me when riff-raff thugs gay bashed someone and when the incident was discussed by the general public or even church going types, it seemed to be applauded where it would appear that the message being sent was that being gay was far worse than being a violent street thug.

 

Now the church goers etc... were not the ones gay bashing, yet their approval, or at least turning of their heads about it spoke volumes to me how backward the general public was with their hatred towards non violent gays, that the thugs, though typically your law breaking headed to jail violent types, were given a pass in these situations.

 

Now In no way shape or form am I advocating child molestation, but you take a non violent person like Jared who messed with (on board minors close to legal age), as well as displaying that he's got issues with a preference towards way too young, and while it's disturbing that his tastes are geared towards way too young, many general public types who would not be the ones hurting Jared themselves are still applauding the prison violent thug types for doing so.

 

Obviously the prison thug is no better than Jared and probably worse, yet the general public gives a pass to the violent thug in these situations.

 

In many ways that feels the same to me as them applauding of the gay bashing thugs that I described above.

 

I'm not equating child molestation with being gay, but I'm equating the general public or even church goers applauding violent types in both scenarios.

 

I'm not defending Jared's behavior as it was definitely illegal, but say for example Jared was a fat unattractive teen who never had a girlfriend while other boys did.

 

How do we know that his sexual and mental development did not develop in such a way that had his tastes move on from young to more his own age, and that mentally he was stuck with the desire to sexually be with someone of the age of when he was first experiencing teen puberty and adolescence?

 

That's really not that much of a far fetched theory.

 

If this were the case, then unfortunately for him he would have to pull on the reins and not fall to his temptations, which obviously he did anyhow and is why he's in jail, but because of we don't try to understand this, and we justify celebrating violent thugs to do the dirty work of kicking his butt for us even though we wouldn't do it ourselves, we're cool to have the violent thugs jump into action for us.

 

To me that's just like us doing it if we're ok with it and we're sending the message that violent thugs are better than Jared in this situation.

 

I get where people are disgusted by anyone who would be attracted to a young kid, but I don't get celebrating that a disturbed, often non-violent person getting his butt kicked by violent thugs.

 

When we're talking about people's sexual development there's more to people than just simply writing them off as being sick and twisted just because you don't understand what they're going through.

 

Sure a child molester has serious psychological issues that requires them to be stopped and prevented from acting out, but advocating them having their butts kicked is pathetic.

 

Sick and twisted, and ignorant to me is not allowing ourselves to understand something past the nose on our face, and celebrating violent thugs to kick their butts and condoning it.

 

Not everyone who has problems with desires for younger, though they obviously need help, are worthy of having their butts kicked. They need help.

I'm am as clear as a whistle about what I am saying and I completely stand behind what I had originally said that it's vulgar that anyone would celebrate Jared being beat up no matter how disgusted they are by his behavior. You're no better than the behavior you detest.

What two adults do behind closed doors is none of my concern and they deserve to be left alone and respected.

 

I cannot say the same for someone who abuses children. Any pedophile who perpetuates that perversion into any manifestation, whether it be a physical molestation or the exploitation of children through the sharing of child pornography, definitely deserves a beating. I will shed no tears for them and I am not apologetic for feeling that way.

I'm not making excuses for them as much as I am trying to say that adding violence to the situation is not a civilized answer to the situation, and though I understand people being sickened by such behavior, I don't understand celebrating the additional sickening behavior, and just as much as child molestation sickens me, so does the general public's ugly backward attitude no matter how popular in numbers their messed up attitude is.

 

The general public has rarely impressed me, and in this case it is no exception.

 

Quite often the same type of people condoning a butt kicking are the same type of people who say "What would Jesus do?"

 

It's doesn't add up and it's hypocritical.

I understand good people being appalled by child molestation, but I don't understand good people condoning prison thugs beating up often non violent sexual offenders.

 

It's not the answer, and it's disturbing that so many think that it is.

It wasn't that long ago that women (girls) much younger than the "legal age of 18", were having sex, getting married, having kids and raising a family in this country.

When a 18-19 year old boy has sexual relations with a 16-17 year old girl, most don't see it as a problem, some lasting relationships even start at this age. But a 40 year old has sexual relations with a 17 year old and they are the most horrible person on the world according to a lot of you.

 

Now if he was touching very young girls, or possessing pics or porn of very young girls or boys, then i think he should get the prison time he deserves. And get mental help.
