Along with the other 13 teams that Fairview "beat" in the 2012 season. That's who gives a flip. An opportunity that those kids will never see again. That's what's wrong with Americans and "most" of the people in Westwood. And yeah, I'm okay making this statement because when I'm in Westwood, I never want to go back. Listen people of Westwood, I'm speaking for all the people who have do the things they want the hard way, the correct way. Life ain't easy sidelinedoc2. You can't just go "find great players" and then have a good team. You have to build the program. From JFL/little league all the way through middle school and up to high school. You can go find a few freshmen and sophomores in other areas and tell them "hey we want a great football team. We think you could help us win a title". Doesn't happen that way. It takes time and effort.

Many kids flocked to Fairview, that does not mean it was recruiting. Not one incident has been substantiated. I would love to see one ounce of proof on this topic. Kids flock to winning teams all the time, that is not cheating, but success!

 

Those 2 issues are not true and were never proven so 99% of the stuff said on here is not accurate.

 

A ineligible young man from Ashland played and cost the team wins and post season play. The Audit reports points to Musick mismanaging some money. They should prosecute Musick if he broke any laws. All the claims and in the end~ The emporer has no clothes.

Well, I haven't seen or heard anything more on the results of the findings so I guess there are no more sanctions. That, if going to be the case, is a very good thing. I would certainly hope that the new administration will get this school back to where we were before 2000 or so, whenever Musik got here. I also hope that the current football coach and staff will keep things clean and legal bc quIte frankly, no one could have argued if the state had shut the program down, or school's independent status for that matter.

I also will say to the Coaches and school adminisrators, school board to take this chance given to you and make things right. No one is going to give our school respect and quite frankly that isn't desrerved. To get the community, area and state's respect back, it has to be earned.

I looked a long time for this thread just because i didn't want to start a new one, stir things up again. I won't comment or reply any further. I just am hoping that Fairview schools will remain and rebuild what was here.

With all due respect, that so called "championship run" was non existent .... All games forfeited, titles stripped and bottom line is they should have been. The Record was officially listed at 0-15.
