Fairfield Ohio police incident

Featured Replies

Before I watch these things I have an open mind, and try to look for excessive use of force. But, I can't find it here. Regardless if the original reason for them to be kicked out was legitimate or not, what is shown on this video was uncalled for. Lady resisting arrest tells her kid to get her in her purse and use the taser on the officers, and she wonders why force was used to get her kid in cuffs?

Respect the rules and none of this happens.

I'm open every day. Bring the girl down with the "broken jaw" and I can 100% determine if it's true or not. However, in my opinion folks with broken jaws don't run them with the same efficiency as she did.

Is it open minded if you are looking for a specific outcome when you go in?

I see a lot of resisting arrest and I think I even saw one of the girls kicking a cop. Deserved what they got. I honestly thought the cops handled it well too, they mostly stayed pretty calm through the whole ordeal.

I'm starting to hate this whole anti police movement that's going on.

My roommate lives in Fairfield, but he hasn't heard much about this.

I'll never make a judgement or takes sides in these "police brutality" situations until I get a still, clear, camera from a consistent angle. This video is shaky, jumps around, and does not show the entire confrontation from beginning to end.

My biggest problem with this whole incident though, is what is the "inappropriate clothing" that the 12 year old daughters were wearing?

I had originally heard it was a male with them that was asked to get out of the pool, that usually means wearing sport shorts or something other than the swim suit that all pools require.

Where's the video of what happened BEFORE the police arrested the people?

I'm not really seeing the issue with what the police did in the video. It looked like they went out of their way not to strike, trade or pepper spray anyone. They even waited patiently for the one woman to let go of the bars.

This incident is not a "new" incident. According to talk radio in the Cincy area, the family approached the police about a settlement, prior to running it out on social media....hmmm...

I will bet that this same mother whoops and hollers at her kids graduations...

I mean that there is not a shred of anything that I could possible use to the benefit of the people that were arrested. Which doesn't happen much, usually you can see at least one or two things for the side you do not agree with that someone could make an argument out of, here there is nothing.

It's an open and shut case to me.

Your making a big assumption that her kids ever graduate...with an idiot mother like that
