I love some of those...but I'm more of an old school guy myself.

I love the classic old Hymns and a lot of the older country gospel...

Turn your radio on

Fourth man in the fire

Will the Circle be unbroken

Daddy sang bass

Peace in the valley...probably along with Amazing Grace my two favorites

Too many of the Old Hymns to mention that I love

I'm of the old school genre too...enjoy "He Lives," still get chills at a well-done "How Great Thou Art," and enjoy many gospel songs.

But I got to play soft contemporary Christian music on the air the first three years of this century and found some "new" artists/songs that I really liked too.

Two late, great giants of Gospel music: Jake Hess medley, including "God Takes Real Good Care of Me," "Then I Met the Master." Vestal Goodman singing "What a Lovely Name."

I love all the songs above & some I would add:

Blessed Assurance by Alan Jackson

He Knows by Jeremy Camp

Better Than A Halleujah by Amy Grant

Petra: Grave Robber

Petra: Not Of This World

Petra: Road To Zion

"I can only imagine" Mercyme

Always been a big fan of this one.

I enjoy Ray Boltz. Grew up listening to him because of mom.

2 of my faves.

Still Calls Me Son by John Waller

My Redeemer by Nicole Mullen (her range is pretty outstanding)

"My Redeemer" Nicole C. Mullen

"Mercy Came Running" Phillips, Craig& Dean

"Above All" Michael W. Smith

"Breath" Michael W.

"Agnes Dai" Michael W.

"Healing Rain" Michael W.

"Red Letter Day" Newsong

"You are My King"(Amazing Love) Newsboys

"He Reigns" Newsboys

"Held" Natalie Grant

...

I am Christian and I love music (to say the least), but have never been interested in where the two shall meet.

It would be nice if I could label my belief system in a word, and I suppose that it should be no surprise to anyone that I would use multiple words (like always) to describe it along with what is appealing and moving to me with some Inspirational Spiritual music.

I was raised Christian (Catholic), then spent years calling myself Agnostic, to more recently settling on a "nameless tag", because through my human limitations I don't know anything for certain, and although organized religion can at times be inspirational it doesn't always add up for me, yet through some powerful unexplainable personal experiences, I've retained a certain sense of hopeful spirituality, and remain open to possibilities, for although science, mixed with my own personal basic logical analysis have been helpful to weed out some of what appears for me to be hard to subscribe to, I continue to allow myself to ponder those things that don't always meet the eye, with the realization that in my lifetime there's a chance that I'll die before finally ever knowing anything for certain, but with the hope that maybe I might.

...and after I die... I shall see...or perhaps... I won't.

I've grown content with not giving this approach a "name",... and I love music (to say the least), but every once in a while a spiritual tune can hit home with me, and move me.

Music has an emotional power over spoken words for me, and the spiritual side of me can be effected by some artists' performances of Spiritual songs, and though the analytical side of me might question the lyrical content, the hopeful side of me has at times taken these songs to heart allowing me to feel them, and to dream.

Sometimes the effect it has on me is simply fond memories of my childhood resurfacing, and how I mostly enjoyed the music performed during church services that I attended as a kid.

The following songs would be the best examples off the top of my head that fall into this category for me.
