June 12, 201511 yr I wouldn't say I worry about it either. Maybe it's just the accountant in me. :idunno: :lol2: How do accountants liven up their Christmas parties? Invite morticians. What do you call an accountant without a calculator? Lonely. Why are accountants cool, calm and collected? They have strong internal controls. Why do accountants look forward to weekends? They can wear informal clothes to work. I've got a million of them.

June 12, 201511 yr Now I want chicken wings in the worst way. And at this point I don't even care what flavor/where/kind.
June 12, 201511 yr I haven't been to a a BW3 in ages. I used to go from time to time in college. I was always medium or spicy garlic. I also usually got boneless because the BW3 wings are so small that when they cook the devil out of them at least one or two would be so chewy that they were completely inedible. You may want to give them a go again. I've never had a small wing at BW3. I mean it's not a fried chicken leg but they are far from small. I've also never had traditional there that didn't have a good amount of meat. The only time I went in there with panties on and ordered boneless they were more breading than chicken. Never again.
June 12, 201511 yr I eat some variation of Buffalo flavored chicken (or turkey) on an almost daily basis.
June 12, 201511 yr To be clear, we are talking Buffalo Wild Wings which has good meat on the bone, both of the garlics are good. BW3's wings lack meat but has better sauces. IMO.
June 12, 201511 yr BDubs is the only place I get boneless. Love their boneless wings, don't love their traditional wings. Anywhere else and I get the traditional.
June 12, 201511 yr .... Spicy Garlic Traditional Knew I liked this guy for a reason....enjoyed some last night before the nky allstar senior football game. Don't think I'm going to alter his opinion of the game though! Spicy garlic is the BOMBDIGGITTY...
June 12, 201511 yr I do my wings at home on my Traeger Smoker. Drizzle the wings with Olive Oil and then I put a bold/spicy poultry rub on the wings and let them sit in the fridge for a little while. Put 'em on the smoker, and let them smoke for 2-3 hours. I don't make my own sauce...I just use one of the various Kroger Wing sauces...spicy garlic is my go to. Or I pick up some different sauces when I make a trip to Jungle Jims in Eastgate. The wings crisp up as good as if deep fried. I make up my own blue cheese dressing, and have plenty of beer available, and I'm set for the day. RJS preps with dry rub and olive oil to cool and then smokes his wings for 2-3 hours...good God that is awesome. One of the greatest posts I have ever read. I'll be purchasing some Kroger Spicy Garlic sauce this weekend and see if it stands up. Thank you for the share! :thumb:
June 12, 201511 yr I always was a BW3 fan from way back, but I don't go much anymore. Once every couple years maybe if my Bengals fans brother and buddy want to take some abuse during "Steelers Week." Always liked the Spicy Garlic and the Wild. Used to get the Blazin' sauce, but it was often inconsistent with its heat, then it became super-hot, and that made the next day difficult. Love their onion rings and ring sauce as well, to the point I'll eat that and take most of the wings home with me. We have several options for wings in Bardstown, so that has a lot to do with me not going to BW3 anymore. We've got Buffalo Wings and Rings, which is expensive but always has big wings. Just had a Zaxby's open, and I've been a fan of them since my WKU days. A new place here in Bardstown called Roby's Caddy Shack — it's right by My Old Ky Home Golf Course — does a breaded bourbon wing that's really good along with their curly-cue potato wedges.
