Cleveland 96 Golden State 91 (Game 3)

So one thing I has seen anyone mention. The Media guys at the game say the refs called that an inadvertent whistle. If that doesn't happen the Warriors get the steal off the Delladova save inbounds and that play likely isn't reviewed. Warriors would have had a chance to tie it.

The call they ended up making was the right one, but the officiating has been really bad in this series IMO.

Agreed, it was the right call in the end but it could have played out a lot differently.

No doubt.

Rumor has it that Lebron was slighted by MJ when he was younger and that he is obsessed with becoming the GOAT to pass MJ.

I hope it is true.

Give me a break. That's now his "secret" motivation after 10 years?

Seriously. :lol2:

LeBron is educating Curry on the importance of each post season possession. LeBron is playing with a fire that he's never shown before. He's battling for everything. Curry is still in a nonchalant, regular season mindset it looks like. He's always good for about 2 or 3 weird passes a game where he just pushes it w/ one hand or behind his back or whatever. However, now, it is really hurting momentum. Can't do that in the Finals.

Apparently the call was right but they should have never gotten there. They called inadvertent whistle which can't be reviewed. So basically they should have never gone to the monitor to see Klay had his hand on the ball while out of bounds. The inadvertent whistle call should have resorted in GS ball.

They mentioned it on Max and Marcellus yesterday.

Are you sure? I was thinking they can use review in the last two minutes of the game.

What I heard on the radio this morning was there are 12 or 15 (can't remember the number) things that can trigger a review. They said inadvertent whistle isn't one of them.

Hmmm, interesting.

Mike and Mike played a clip from Rick Barry and that's what he said.

It's the only way to make a series between these two any good.

Look how great the Cavs are defensively!!!!

...just kill me.

I am coming around to the notion that this series is exciting for all the wrong reasons. I feel like I am watching college basketball, but with better players. Lost is the shuffle of talking points is that Cleveland has been equally as bad at scoring the ball. They're actually more dreadful to watch than the mojoless Golden State offense. The offense has become LeBron holding the ball and taking a bad shot. I love watching him move around and make a pinpoint pass, but the shot clock violations and desperation heaves are dreadful. What I have been most impressed with is the leadership LeBron is exhibiting. His numbers are great, but he is going near record high volume to attain those, so I am not blown away by that. He is lifting the play and collective spirit of the guys around him, that is why he has been great this series. The games have been captivating, but not because of the quality of play.

- They are letting them (both teams) play physically, and for anyone to deny that does not benefit Cleveland is kidding themselves.

- Steph seemed to finally find his rhythm. We shall see if it carries over. Maybe the pressure just came off being down by 20? Once it got real, he missed a pivotal three on the Shumpert inbound and turned over the ball 3 times. I will wait and see before saying he is out of the slump. Delly is doing work.

- Speaking of Delly, I am speechless. You can make an argument for him being MVP for containing Steph and doing the dirty work (no, I am not saying he deserves it over LeBron). Never dreamed when he came to play against Murray State he would be competing for an NBA title.

- What in the heck is going on with the reffing?

- Harrison Barnes looks petrified.
