Best of 3 and it is 1-1 so tonight is it. Florida won 3-2 and Michigan won 1-0. Should be an exiting one tonight.

It has been great! The WCWS is one of the great sporting events to watch in the country and most never give it a chance because it is women playing. Year in and year out it's better than the men's College World Series. Game is so fast paced it is great to watch compared to baseball in most cases.

I also enjoy watching women's NCAA softball championship. Just one thing though, and this is just my opinion, I think the base paths need to be extended and the outfield needs to be extended. If you just get around on a good pitch and get in in the air, it seems an almost automatic homer.

Florida hit the ball decently last night but could not get the big hit. I think the offense is a little more in play tonight. Defense might win it but I think the scoring will pick up tonight.

If you extend the bases very much, there would be a LOT less hits IMO.

 

I get what your saying about the fence, but that's the thing you don't see anymore HR's than you do in a baseball game. I think these dimensions fit the women's game pretty well.

To each his own I guess. I have a hard time getting excited about a game where you see the same pitcher rolled out almost every game. I have tried, I find it unwatchable. And I do love women's hoops. Watch every second I can.

Florida's game one starter only started a handful of games this year.

 

Do you also get upset if a team starts the same point guard every game or when a baseball team uses the same closer in nearly every game.

 

I'm not sure what the same pitcher two or three games in a row does to diminish the game. If the best baseball pitchers could start back to back games they would.

I was the same when DLG #1 first started playing, but I agree....to each his own.

I wish some of you could convince Ms. BB that this is the most awesome tournament in sports. She groans every time I have it on. The exposure throughout, beginning with conference tourneys, really gives you an opportunity to catch up on a team late in the season.
