June 23, 201610 yr This case was supposed to be Mosley's slam dunk case. She rushed to convict these officers in the media and got to meet Prince, so maybe for her it was worth it.
June 23, 201610 yr If I am a taxpayer in Baltimore I move quickly, or I am going to be footing a huge bill to these officers when the lawsuits come out.
June 23, 201610 yr Does she push forward prosecuting the other 3 and retrying the first one that ended in a hung jury?
June 23, 201610 yr The city is going to burn itself to the ground if they don't get a couple convictions in these other three.

Here is a question, Lets say none of them are convicted, and baltimore goes wild. As a baltimore PD officer do you feel comfortable going out and policing your town, considering all that has happened?

June 23, 201610 yr Does she push forward prosecuting the other 3 and retrying the first one that ended in a hung jury? You dont retire the hung jury case because if the defendant is smart he ask for a judge trail next time. You have to try the rest of them if you are the DA.
June 23, 201610 yr Feel comfortable doing it? Nope, but you do it anyways because that's the job. Do you risk it, do you quit, city doesnt back you, administration doesnt back you, citizens dont back you, why risk your life for it.
June 23, 201610 yr Do you risk it, do you quit, city doesnt back you, administration doesnt back you, citizens dont back you, why risk your life for it. Those are fair questions, and it would be an awful position to be in. I'm just saying if you're an officer there, you either quit or you do your job in that situation.

Anybody know has Baltimore had resignations in their Police department since the all went down, due to the issues at hand.
June 23, 201610 yr The city is going to burn itself to the ground if they don't get a couple convictions in these other three. I don't think so, but we'll see. The trials of the officers hasn't garnered nearly the reaction throughout the city I expected, as far as I can tell. I will add that with Goodson's trial ending in a clear not-guilty that I don't see any way the other officers are found guilty. Maybe they get something to stick on one of the officers who checked on Gray or who didn't buckle him in, but I would be surprised at this point. It's been my assumption that 1) Goodson was the prosecution's main target, that 2) they had more incriminating evidence than the public was aware of, and 3) they were charging the other officers in hopes that they would testify against Goodson in exchange for dropped charges. It appears there's no evidence beyond negligence and the other officers didn't roll over.
June 23, 201610 yr The prosecution screwed this up from the beginning, which is becoming more and more obvious with every acquittal. If I'm still on the chopping block waiting for trial, you really have to consider asking for a bench trial.

July 18, 201610 yr Is there any reason why Baltimore people are not rioting over these decisions? I'm trying to figure out what the difference is. I know Gray was not shot, but he did die in police custody. Any ideas?
