What makes you think that is love making going on in prison? Them dudes ain't in love and that isn't a gay lifestyle in prison. I would almost guarantee that anyone who comes out of prison gay arrived at that prison gay. Based on your theory you don't have to go prison to be gay. According to your theory you could wake up tomorrow morning and decide you want to be gay. That's not happening. You're either attracted to the same sex or you aren't.

You can't choose to just one day be attracted to men. If you can you were always attracted to men. Are you attracted to men and just choose to be straight? At any point in your life did you make a conscious to be with only women?

Beyond any scientific studies or " he said, she saids " or prison rape stories , I know what my eyes see. IF , IF you have ever watched a person from birth to young childhood , to young teens, into adulthood who happens to be a gay adult and you didn't see or notice signs from their young child hood that this man or woman had different attractions than most of the straight counterparts you just were not paying any attention. SOME people might choose to be gay , they very well might , SOME are born to be same sex attracted whether they like it or not , those folk have a extremely difficult decision about age 10-14 -- am I going to do what my brain and body tells me to , or am I going to be a miserable , distraught , tortured soul and attempt not to follow the way I've felt since I can remember having any feelings. Mt Ref I don't hold any ill feelings about your position , I'd say its close to mine from 10 years ago , But when you a witness a gay person grow up and you see from early childhood in your own eyes that they don't have the same attractions to " normal " gender things ( boys who are feminine , girls who are masculine ) then maybe your position will evolve . For some its no choice . The most tortured people on earth are young gay Christians who don't understand their own sexuality , those and even non Christian youths are at terrible risk for suicide and horrific mental conditions and us ( society ) telling them to decide ( choose) to just not be gay sure isn't the helping . Well, then they'll be joined in Hell by the majority of the people of this earth. You know, like all the people having sex out of wedlock and cheating on their spouses.

 

I'd take the howling of the Christian right a lot more seriously in their protestations over homosexuality if the Christian right were a lot less single-minded about their approach to homosexuality. Especially since, comparatively, nary a word is ever said about spousal infidelity and sex out of wedlock.
