UKMF ... In just this thread, I consider all of the above posts as people now saying maybe Price should be fired. Is it because of his rant by itself? No. But the rant certainly pushed these posts and many other comments elsewhere in that direction

C Trents past in general, not the first time hes been the center of controversy. Hes been fired from 2-3 different media outlets for this and that as well. Just seems, as a media guy, you wouldn't want to bite the hand that feeds you. Plus C Trent is an asshat as a person anyways.

 

Im not saying he shouldnt have reported what he did, but dont you think a media guy would/could call up someone with the Reds and confirm what hes seeing before he just launches out random tweets?

When the only person who mentions the word "fired" does so while specifically stating he shouldn't be disciplined for this, and should be fired because he's a crappy manager, I'm guessing I'm reading it the right way. :idunno:

All of those posts were made as a result of the rant and all of them show the rant is a factor in the poster's belief Price should be fired...except AJG. You are right that I should not have included his post.

 

Second, those were just quick examples I pulled from this thread. I have heard more than a few people outside BGP say Price needs to go.

 

None of those people nor I are saying Price should be fired just because of the rant by itself. I am saying the rant is the catalyst that led many people to start saying it's time for Price to go. I also am saying the rant should be virtually no factor in deciding whether Price should be manager.

Just saw Chris Rock do a rant on Real Sports with Bryant Gumble basically saying baseball had become a sport only followed by old, grey headed tea partiers. Any of you all fit that????? :lol:

The rant just provided not only does his management decisions come into question, but clearly has no idea how to handle the media and what their job actually is.

But none of the other posts you quoted said he should be fired much less that he should be fired for as a result of the rant.
