For real , doesnt that just make one want to pack up the fam and go support the Reds ? SMH at the entire Reds organization , one I've tried to support for 40 years .

If the Reds org accepts this with no fine or suspension I'll skip the Reds until he is gone . ( 1 year max anyway )

That's only because the Patriots don't give out that information. If Price, or someone else associated with the team, gave out the information on Hamilton and Mesoraco and it got out in the media that's on them, not the reporters. There are lots of reporters in Boston that would be all over those stories--the Patriots and Belichick are smart enough to keep that in house. Reporters aren't there to be Price's buddy. If he doesn't want them to report something then don't let them know about it. If the leak is from another source then he needs to find it. Don't get on the reporters for doing their job...

 

I don't disagree with your point. The only point I am trying to make is that not all reporters report everything they are told or everything they see. It depends on if they like you and if you win. Those Boston reporters know about every Patriot injury that takes place. They aren't stupid though.

As I've said, I feel his rant was completely misguided, but I do have to admit I like seeing the fire from Price. Didn't think he had it in him.

I am starting to feel like they are hiding something about Meso too. Maybe he is frustatrated that he is continually playing short a man too and it boiled over.

I don't call it fire, I call it being ignorant. Sounds to me he can't handle the job and the stress is getting to him. It wasn't as if it was a big question. I just don't think he is cut out for the job. If he thinks letting the other team know that Meso wouldnt be there is some huge advantage to them then he has shown he can't handle the job.

Ok I'll own up .. I despise the F word . Hate it , can't stand it , hate how its use has been accepted by John Q Public . Now on occasion where a strong swear word is to to used then the F bomb is a fine choice . It just seems so low brow , to be coming from a MLB manager making tons of bucks and on TV , sounding like a crack head . Just turns me off at a time when I'm barely barely hanging in here with baseball in general , and the Deads , er Reds .

The word sadly crosses my own lips from time to time . But not with 15 microphones in my face to be broadcast nationally . 77 times in a few breathes is out of control. He can't handle the pressure evidently.
