Just heard this kid was offered by Vanderbilt and Wake Forest. Anybody know anything else about this kid?

I think he goes to Ryle now.

That appears to be correct per Twitter.

Congrats to the kid.

A great kid and even better QB. The kid can play. So glad for him and his family. This is just the first of many to come.

I know for sure that Wake Forest was at Ryle before school started this morning to observe Tanner. They offered a full-ride this morning. He is a very humble and hard-working young man and a good leader. It will be a lot of fun to watch him and the Raiders compete this fall. Good coaching, hard-working players with some speed and talent and good team chemistry. Congrats to Tanner and family.

Very nice schools!

Wasn't there some debate on here as to whether he would start this year for Ryle?

I believe when it was first announced that Morgan was returning there was some questioning whether he would start. There was another thread posted after that with Morgan's HUDL video and most people (me included) had their eyes opened by what they saw on the video. I don't think anyone in that thread questioned whether he would start.

Personally, I am a little surprised at the D1 offers, but excited for the young man. It is great to see dreams come true. I am more interested than ever at seeing how Morgan performs this season at Ryle.

Apparently the young man gets it done in the classroom.

I think the Vanderbilt stuff was false. It was just Wake Forest.

That is what I thought also.

Confirmed. Wake only.

I remember Tanner from the Kentucky vs Tennesse Future Stars event back in middle school. Back then, he was a student of the game with an amazing personality. The statement about "good kid" is 100% accurate from my experience. He was one year younger than all the kids on the KY team that year....all of the boys were 2016 class and now getting college interest. I'm not surprised by anything coming Tanner's way. He made a solid impression even back in middle school. Looking forward to keeping up with his high school and college career.

He is only a sophomore! He is still yet to play his junior and senior seasons. I'm sure this is only the beginning of the offers that will be coming his way.

Awesome, congrats!

Great to get that first "domino" to fall!
