The more real information from people who know a team the better. I enjoy information that provides real insight on teams and players. It doesn't matter which thread - updates, game results, predictions. If there is information from people who closely follow a program, I enjoy reading it. I enjoy hearing about the players. I also enjoy getting perspective from around the state. The more statewide perspective and insight BGP can add on teams and players, the better.

I really enjoy the folks who support their team with an objective eye and celebrate success beyond the individual....i.e. thanks to that effective o-line said RB rushed for 100+...or the difference maker was field position and that long snapper and punter got it done tonight.

 

The celebrating team element is something everyone can identify with!

I like the banter pregame, and the updates

during the game. Its nice not to have to go home or surf the major news outlets to get the scores. BGPer's do a great job keeping us informed. I also love to hear all the recruiting news about our areas young men. Teams win games and as some of these men move on to college we all win.

I love the predictions.

 

I love reading the play-by-play updates.

 

I love being able to quickly find the score on the BGP site.

 

I love the post-game analysis, chatter, and discussions.

 

I only hope that BGP can effectively recruit more and more subscribers throughout the state of Kentucky to help contribute to the whole process. That would really make it fun.

I like the notebooks from different areas of the state. They give you a better run-down of those schools that you don't get to see that often.

 

I also like the rankings threads and subsequent discussion. While not everyone agrees, it does help to get other opinions when trying to think about who is better and who can beat whom.

We pull scores from BGP, Twitter, Facebook, and text messages. Not really possible to cite all of that over the loudspeaker. Suggestions?

I would say if any of them are organizations take turns giving each of them credit. You can pick one organization per home game.

Either way I don't want to derail this thread.

Somebody was talking about Don Weber the other day. I think BGPS should use a public access channel and make a little Friday or Saturday night highlight show and have Don Weber the host. Just a idea I think it would be awesome. Or make it a Thursday night show and have them go over the games that week and give some predictions.

Agree !! I do miss the old time coverage of the local nky teams and matchups and interviews of players and coaches. I thought 64 was going to go this direction , we need a local ket or cheaper channel to cover the nky games and bring some of the old time hype around the game. This adds thrill for the kids as well.

I would say 2 different things personally.

 

1. I love seeing the weekly rankings and different opinionated explanations per class. Helps me kind of gauge each team in other classes I may not necessarily be familiar with.

 

2. The moderators are great on this site compared to other similar sites on the folks who like to cause trouble. Very little ignorance and a lot more substance on BGP.
