April 14, 201511 yr Child please. Like we are going to get to bat again. You have GOT to turn 2 on that ball.
April 14, 201511 yr Not sure why you would go high & in on Alcantara but he was in a tough spot anyway. Bullpen blows another one. How many is that?
April 14, 201511 yr Being serious, the Reds problem is Jocketty, he doesn't know how to run a ball club....
April 14, 201511 yr Bases loaded. Nobody out. Price double switches out his best defensive right fielder with the best arm to set up the batting order in the 11th.
April 14, 201511 yr Um' date=' why was the infield playing in?[/quote'] Is he too fast to turn 2 in the middle? I hate playing infield that far in...
April 14, 201511 yr Author Is he too fast to turn 2 in the middle? I hate playing infield that far in... 112 SB in 530 games in the minors. So...... No.
April 14, 201511 yr Outside of Chapman, the Reds have no bullpen and I don't see how things will improve at all. Someone should really get the "base hits with RISP are legal and are actually very helpful - a positive every time" memo out to this team. Price, whether this is right or not, most of the time looks like that he is staring into space, having no clue of what to do. This one was two in a row that could have, should have been wins and the Reds should be 6-1. I said with tounge in cheek sarcasm in a preview / prediction thread that with the Cubs improved, promising young players and now a Quality, experienced manager - that the Reds would be dead last in the Central. I fully realize that this is only 7 of 162 games but with the way the Red Legs are playing in losing these games....(no bullpen, no clutch hitting and weak manager / decisions) my last place prediction may not be far, if any off from the truth.
