New Coach, real tough schedule. Never said anything about candidates. Said all had not seen them as stated. Wish they had. Time will tell.

I've saw all those LC kids as well, and yes they are talented but they aren't anywhere in the top of the state far as talent goes IMO. There best I would think would be somewhere around the 35-45 mark in his class.

Will hft to explain further , kids you all mentioned play on different teams, so I guess they have to be the stars. These boys at L. C. all play on the same team , sorta kike the Ky wildcats . Each could give 30 per game if they played on different teams. No hi just fact.

Was talking to a few coaches earlier who saw Darius Williams at the Bearcat Classic this weekend.

Their thoughts:

"No way that kid is Mr Basketball good. Struggled big time against kids no where close to as good as what he's being mentioned with."

Take it FWIW.

Interesting.

Could have been a bad weekend. I'll stand by my guy though, too much history for me to look past as more than just a bad performance, but I do trust your word on it and will have it in mind going forward if there are repeats.

FWIW, if we're talking about next level talent, I would think that Goodin has a firm hold on #1 right now with Wright being there at #2 . Past that, I think Williams and Williams in some order.

Ok, while we are on the subject of 2016; who would you rather have? Snapp or Perry?

-both are coaches sons.

-Snapp plays better competition during the high school season, but Perry plays on a more talented aau team.

-Perry is the better run and jump athlete, Snapp is svelte, and can get in the lane using his craftiness.

-both have high ball iqs, and can shoot.

-both aren't great defenders, but work hard on the defensive end of the floor.

I really like both of them. Ive seen games where they both may not be the most publicized kid on the floor, but came away highly impressed with them.

I think that Tyler Sharpe from Bullitt East could be a dark horse in the race for Mr. Basketball.

Has to be Eli Wright or Goodin. Both are D1 good, will be an impact for a major school, none of the others mentioned can do that. Love Carson Williams, huge fan, will be a good player form someone.

First name on Perry ?

- Braxton Beverly - Perry Central

- Eli Wright - Apollo

- Quentin Goodin -Taylor County

- Mason Faulkner - Caverna

- Carson Williams - Owen County

Goodin's to lose IMO

In order for Wright to be in the running he will have to guide Apollo to a stellar season and have some postseason success. I think Goodin is the heavy favorite and Braxton Beverly will be hot on his tail. I can see Beverly winning it before Wright and I see Carson Williams making a huge run at it also over Wright.

What is Wright's status with Louisville?

He could go for 30 and 15 (or more) a night!

Every night.

Legit question: what do you think he averages in the 7th or 11th? I ask because I'm curious. I'll be the first to admit, I haven't seen tons of him.

Same numbers. He puts up good numbers in the EYBL. I think he can handle the 7th and 11th. Let's not act like those two regions play a superior brand of basketball.
