Given Rex's recent history you would have thought they would have come up with a little better choice for Kentucky.

I would rather listen to Billy Packer than Chapman. He is a thief and drug addict. Not to mention how many times he took Gods name in vain on his message to the psycho caller he had.

Not to mention they also have a guy that does broadcast for Al Jazzera.

With the exception of the Championship night tweet last year, I thought Rex provided some really sound insight last season. His comments about the players, based on experience as an advance scout in the NBA, was extremely insightful (on both UK players and others).

 

That said, considering his most recent past, I agree that another representative would have been preferable.

I was set to watch the homer channel for the game based on the announcers of the last 4 games, horrible, just horrible. But now,, I don't know. Guess will tune in and see which ones are calling for each.

For me I didnt like team streaming they did last year. I know the Network guys are not as educated about the teams. But I cant stand listening to "Homer Version" I want to hear an objective call of the game.

This is why you watch CBS, or whatever the national broadcast is.

I was going to ask how he got out of prison to do this. Wait maybe hes doing the broadcast with Farmer from prison.

Jerry Cobb, a spokesman for the Maricopa County Attorney's Office, told WDRB News that after reviewing the case, prosecutors did not file charges and have sent the case back to police for further investigation.

 

Cobb said no decision has been made on whether to charge Chapman. Prosecutors have up to seven years in which to issue charges in a felony case, he said.

 

"We still need additional information before we make that decision," Cobb said. He declined to discuss specifics of the case.

Final Four games have the GOAT Bill Raftery doing color right? If that's the case I'm watching whatever channel he is on!

Another example of how morales and having good role models in a public setting take a big back seat to $$$ and ratings.

 

I will not be watching the channel Rex is on simply because I do not support the decision.

 

Not that I so not like Rex, but I feel he received special treatment which is an injustice to everyone involved including Rex. He obviously needs help.
