UC was well within striking distance with 5 minutes left and UK got some separation for the first time all game from there. Not quite a statement blowout any way you slice it...

For me it is more about dominating the game than the final score. Thought UC and UK were even the first 15 minutes of each half with UK controlling the last 5 of each to ultimately finish ahead. Game never felt like a blowout sitting court side...

I know I never felt comfortable til five minutes remained.

You had better seats than me then, but sitting in the rafters I never felt uneasy about it and when UK's lead hit double digits about the midpoint of the 2nd half, I was really comfortable.

 

Unusual for me though, I am normally pessimistic.

Game not being in doubt and a blowout is two different things in my opinion. I was pretty close to court side and I never really thought Kentucky could or would lose the game but that's been my demeanor all season. I do a lot more enjoying than worrying when I watch this team

Remember when UK had a "reloading" year that ended in the NIT with a loss to Bobby Mo? UC had a rebuilding year, lost their coach and played with 36-0 UK for 40 minutes. I'll take it and look forward to a much better season next year.

 

You guys sure do make it really easy to pull for a loss. Really easy...
