Because I believe Highlands, Bowling Green and Pulaski County will all have better teams than Cov Cath this year.

I only see one class with a clear cut favorite and that is 1A... every other class I see multiple teams with a legit shot. I would even go as far to say it is too close to call to pick a favorite in every class except 5A and 1A.

Dixie Heights is 5A and lost most of their best players to graduation.

Scott will be playing in Bowling Green this year for the 4A championship !!! Just not sure who against just yet......

Sorry got over excited !! Meant to say it would be nice to see Scott win a couple post season games and go from there !!

Cov Cath would be 4th on my Big Board for 5A.

Think you guys are underestimating what BW lost. Almost complete overhauls on both lines and in the secondary. A returning 2 year starter in Combs has declared he's not playing his senior year. Word is a freshman is actually going to play varsity this year due to lack of bodies in the secondary, that's unheard of. IMO last year was their shot, still couldnt climb Mt. Mayfield. I'm sure they will once again look like world beaters vs district opponents, but I'm not yet ready to book a ticket to BG. Great returning skill players at QB RB and WR, but just a whole lot of what ifs after that.

No clue, don't know a thing about any teams outside of NKy. Just pointing out they lost a ton, and are in a rebuild mode. If lines come together they will be fine, but they lost t the leaders of that team and a lot of 2/3 year starters
