March 15, 201511 yr Coach Cal said that they forgot to cut down the nets. I like only cutting down one set of nets anyway.
March 16, 201511 yr Author Cats didn't cut down the nets. They said they had their minds set on cutting a couple of other nets down. Cal told ESPN that they just forgot to cut down the nets.
March 16, 201511 yr Cal told ESPN that they just forgot to cut down the nets. :thumb: :lol2: I was going to post this and saw yours. I loved it ... told the espn braketology crew that if they really wanted the truth that they had forgotten, knew they had to hurry to catch a flight. Cal remembered on the way off floor, ask the team what they were going to say to the media and tbey told him they would all just say they were waiting on the NCAA Nets.
March 16, 201511 yr Coach Cal said that they forgot to cut down the nets. I like only cutting down one set of nets anyway. I think I heard one of the sports programs say that Cal sent the team managers back out to cut down the nets. So at least they brought them back with them.

March 16, 201511 yr The managers or maybe GA's went back out and cut the nets down. Towns did indeed have one around his neck during interviews.
March 16, 201511 yr I thought the technical against the Arkansas player for hanging on the rim was a big, but wrong, call. It kind of defused their comeback (if there was really going to be a serious one).
March 16, 201511 yr I thought the technical against the Arkansas player for hanging on the rim was a big, but wrong, call. It kind of defused their comeback (if there was really going to be a serious one). The game was over at that point, but he definitely did a chin up on the rim. Arkansas had such a dumb game plan. The game was over before it even started.

March 16, 201511 yr I certainly didn't get not starting Qualls. He was being disciplined. The coach said in the postgame presser that it was due to a little house cleaning. That probably translates into...Qualls was one of the players taunting Kentucky after the semifinal game. But, that was not specified.

It just didn't make sense if he wanted to have a chance at winning. Qualls looked very hot about it.

It kind of defused their comeback (if there was really going to be a serious one). It seemed chintzy to me, particularly when KY dunked one a little later and seemed to have the same hang time. Don't get me wrong, I'll accept any and all calls that go in KY's favor.
