Don't get me wrong, I'll accept any and all calls that go in KY's favor. It wasn't the fact he hung on the rim, it was the fact he did a pull up on the rim like Wireman said. That's automatic.

March 16, 201511 yr Why is hanging on the rim after a dunk a technical? I guess you can say it is showboating, but they allow guys to stare down others, talk smack, scream, etc. If anything, you stay on the rim it hurts your team because you are not getting back on defense.

I'd say fear of damage to rim or backboard which would cause a huge delay in the game.

March 16, 201511 yr The game was over at that point, but he definitely did a chin up on the rim. Arkansas had such a dumb game plan. The game was over before it even started. Wireman nailed it. Mike Anderson's decision to press and run with UK was the biggest play of the game.
