March 14, 201511 yr Has anyone seen this nugget being passed around? How old is 2018 center, Oumar Keita? Any truth to this? If this is true it is huge news. If it is false I feel bad he has had to continually answer these questions. This whole story is intriguing.

March 14, 201511 yr Happens a LOT, especially with kids from Senegal and Sudan. I know of a 2016 football prospect in Cincinnati that was 18 when he came over and was placed in 7th grade... So if my math is correct, he'll be 23 next year as a senior?
March 14, 201511 yr I seen this several years ago with another kid in the central ky area. We were never truly sure what his age was. My best guess - 19 is the number.
March 14, 201511 yr Don't really know what to make of the email. Could have definitely used some proof-reading at the very least. My opinion: IF he is dirty, then the only people who know the truth are dirty as well. I don't know if I'm taking the word of someone involved in trafficking kids who has motive to lie as the gospel just because it came from them. This is a guy who has basically admitted that much talking about kids he "brought". There are ways you can tell his true age (e.g., wisdom teeth, etc.) or at least somewhere close. Also think it's reckless for the place to publish what they did (and to butcher grammar and punctuation the way they did) but thinking it's okay to stand by the "we don't know if it's actually true" as if that makes publishing something like this right. Sorry, that just comes off as weaseling to me.
April 17, 201511 yr Looks like Keita is playing with the Louisville Magic 15U. If there are problems, apparently they aren't worried about them.

April 17, 201511 yr Is that like saying "No offense", and then saying something very offensive Kind of. It's more just poor journalism than anything when you are posting something that would be so damaging (to a kid no less) and you are dealing with a source that you apparently don't have some kind of rapport with.
April 17, 201511 yr So he's 14? He's apparently playing with their 15U team, according to that tweet. If there are people with proof, they've not come forward unless it's to send a grammatically poor email to some website no one has heard of until now (and one that seems to rank grade school kids). Seems like they'd go to someone more credible. By all means, if he's actually 19 or 20+ years old and there's proof of it, someone should say something to someone who could do something about it. I mean that in all seriousness.
