March 13, 201511 yr Bruce Perl is good at what he does. This win will help him big-time in recruiting, even though he's a good recruiter as is. Auburn will be a legit team in a short period of time. That said, they don't have a chance against Kentucky tomorrow. With 4 games in 4 days, Auburn will be gassed in the second half. Don't expect a blowout though, the cats will conserve energy and coast their way through this one.
March 13, 201511 yr Also the big kid for Auburn (Granger) was ejected which means he has to set out 1 game so they will be short one player tomorrow.
March 13, 201511 yr Got to give Pearl credit for believing in his team and being a realist. Said yesterday prior to the game that he only brought 4 jackets to the SEC tourney. Said he did have an extra shirt and tie just in case he needed them. 4 Jackets would be enough to get him to Kentucky but not past Kentucky...love it.
March 14, 201511 yr Johnny Jones is the worst coach in America. Gets the talent and can't do anything with it. You have two future NBA forwards on your team, you've got to do better than that. And to think he's getting Simmons, Blakeney, and possibly Newman next year.
March 14, 201511 yr He got out coached real bad but I still don't know if he is worse than their old coach Brady.
March 14, 201511 yr Thought it was a great play that Pearl drew up for the three at the end of regulation. Really didn't like the way LSU defended it, which is easy to say after the fact. Really happy for Pearl to get another win. Looking forward to watching the Cats demolish Auburn today!
