I think you will find that the QB camp was scheduled at Boyle because of the turf field. This camp was scheduled way before Pardue resigned at Mercer. I wouldn't read more into it than these facts.

Easier said than done. Mercer County has the indoor practice facility that is turf and more than capable to host the QB Camp on. I could be mistaken but the practice facility has been the location for the last couple of years.

I am in a little different situation in where I used to be AD, but it was a constant fight to get assistants into the building as teachers, paraprofessionals, etc... with my leadership team. Head Coach was a given for the major sports but by the time I was done, I had every head coach except for tennis, wrestling & bowling doing something in the building. Many of the top assistants that we had over the years in various sports were employed by schools in the surrounding areas, ideal? definitely not, but it was workable.

 

I wont get into the whole is Coach Pardue going to be there or not, but it is a workable scenario to teach @ one school & work at another, no matter how uncomfortable it can be for all parties involved. If someone wants to work @ a place bad enough, or that school wants him bad enough even if they dont have a position there usually they will make it work until they can be there.

With all that being said Chris Pardue is not on the coaching staff at Boyle. Whether he will be in the future remains to be seen.

Yes it does. Conventional wisdom says those plans are still in place. Otherwise, why hasn't a new OC been announced? If it's not going to be Pardue then why the wait to replace Coach Mason?

I think spring practice started today at Boyle.

It did and practice went well. Glad to be able to help out and film during spring ball

I am hearing Pardue was introduced to the team as the new OC. Can anyone confirm or deny? I also heard he participated in practice yesterday in a coaching manner. Is this official?

I cannot confirm nor deny that he is our OC. Also, I was not filming. I am done with my Filming for Boyle County. I was training our new Filmers.

I'm hearing all kinds of stuff. I don't think Parude will join the staff though. I think he and Chuck are very close and Pardue will lend a helping hand from time to time but I don't think he will be the new OC. I guess we will see. I have heard from plenty that he was at spring practice on Monday and helping out a lot. I'm as confused as the next guy. Oh well, GO REBELS!!!!!!

That's a very odd situation. Either way, I'm surprised the OC position has yet to be filled. I haven't really heard any names for the position. Pardue is an obvious name that continually comes up but he has made it public that he is not coming to Boyle County. Who knows what will happen. I'm with you though, Go Rebels!
