It was a really big crowd, people in upper deck on CCH side, not sure about Holmes side. This tourney has to be played at BOKC. There is no gym in the 9th that can hold that type of crowd, not even close. It is more important for everyone to get the chance to watch it than have 1/3 to 1/2 turned away for atmosphere.

 

Even I will agree with this. 6 to 7k would be my guess.

Lot of hustle plays. Not very good shooting night.

By the way, Holmes is going to be good next year. We got see next year's big play really well tonight. Brandon Moore can play.

 

He did play well in his minutes. Englemon played well, also last night. He was stealing minutes from Mullins. They will probably start Moore, McClendon, Mullins, Arnold and Englemon. Arnold and Moore are really big stout kids. They should be in the thick of things again.

Block looked clean, Great job by Schuh to grab the rebound. He kept the ball alive many times tonight and last night.

Avery played a heck of a game. He really kept the Bulldogs in it offensively. The kid flat out has hops. Not sure I have seen many that can just that quickly and high.

Brandon Moore and Andrew Arnold will form one of the best 4/5 combos in the region next year...Arnold finished with 9 boards. Moore finished with 8 pts, 6 rbs.

Sure looked like goal tending from where I was sitting.

I might have jinxed Boldin talking about how he is one of the best contested shooters I have seen in person. He got a lot of looks tonight that he typically makes, especially the little pull up jump shot around the free throw line. He was on line most of the night but seemed to shoot it just a little long because he kept hitting the back iron of the rim.

 

Great career for him and congrats to CovCath. I always enjoy it when CovCath loses, however when they do make it to state for basketball I do root for them then. So go CovCath go make it back to back State Championships.

I thought the play of the game was the alley-oop to Schue under 2 minutes coming out of a timeout. Put the Colonels ahead by 4 and they are going to drill free throws and Holmes was not making threes to get back in it with possessions.

If it's the play I'm thinking of (he dunked it) it wasn't an alley oop. It was a pick and roll(I think). Great OOB play. I always tell people that Scott's OOB plays are the best.
