It's been a pleasure boys and girls, but it's time for Softball for me, until next season...........

Cannot wait until football season...JK...congrats to CCH. This HHS fan hopes you do great in the Sweet 16!

So does anyone know the last time any team managed to pull out three wins against Holmes in a single season?

Bolden 5/20 from the field, feel bad for him. Not the way you want to go out.

This was a close one as expected. Really in doubt until the final two minutes when CCH had to make free throws and did. Defensive intensity by both throughout as the score indicates. Nothing was uncontested inside and both teams missed a bunch of easy ones. The difference was CVH made his shots, as well as, Schuh. McClendon and Bolden did not finish well or shoot well. The only offense for the dawgs was Avery.

The best team is representing the region, no doubt in my mind. The Bulldogs have nothing to hang their heads about, they gave it their all and they just didn't fall for them.

CCH is gritty and plays really hard, also. They are just tough to put away because they just keep plugging away. They will have to play this type of defense throughout the state tourney because they just can't seem to run fluid things against a 2-3 and I wouldn't play anything but that against them. They will be a tough out for anybody. Good luck to the Blue Colonels.

How close is that to his low-water mark playing at Holmes?

I am not sure, but he was forcing things, but we all have seen him make the ones he missed tonight. He was trying, but these things happen to even some of the best players. It has been a pleasure watching this young man play for three years. Many many more highs than disappointments. Good luck at WVU for James. I will be watching.
