Rams and Eagles swap busted QB's...:idunno::ohbrother:

 

As a Rams fan I'm not sure what I think of this right off. Glad to get out from under the big $$$ Bradford was due, but hate to give up picks to get rid of him.

 

Can anyone make me feel good about this as a Rams fan?

Nevermind...first report I heard was the Rams gave up their 1st rd pick...which was the 10th pick.

 

Instead the Eagles acquire QB Sam Bradford, '15 5th round draft pick from St. Louis in exchange for QB Nick Foles, '15 4th round, '16 2nd round picks

I think Rams made out well on this trade. Early reports were opposite of how it actually was. I think it will be good for them.

Rams have a lot of pieces and one of the biggest pieces they are missing is the QB. If Fowles does well, this team will take off.

I think so, they need a playmaker on offense too...would love to see Bama WR fall to them.

Bradford will always be remembered as the last #1 pick to sign for a king's ransom. A new team may bode well for both Qbs . Statistically they are similar but Bradford has been on bad teams.

I really don't quite understand what Chip Kelly is doing.

 

And for the record, I'm officially no longer an Eagles fan @halfback20 . I loved them because of Donovan McNabb, David Akers, Andy Reid, Brian Mitchell, Brian Dawkins, and the rest of their defense. I continued to try and hang on after all those guys left, but I just can't do it anymore. I'm out.

Bradford is at Philly because of Shurmer the OC. He originally was the OC when he was drafted in StL. What I don't understand, Bradford is not the least bit mobile. In that system, I would think they want some mobility. If he gets hit he's going down or his history says so. Rams win this one IMO.

What the hell is a Chip Kelly doing?

When's the last time there was a starting QB for starting QB swap? Trades like this are infrequent anyway in the NFL, but QB for QB? I'm guessing there was something in between now and then, but the only thing I can come up with in my head is Pastorini for Stabler.

Reports are in that Philly is trading Cooper Riley along with 24 cases of Keystone Light to Max's Bar in exchange for this guy. 68 yr old Vince Papale.

 

It's going to cost Philly an extra $12 million for Bradford, did I hear that right? A guy with all the ACL issues that he's had, and a shoulder in college. $12 million more?

 

I hope that Tennessee stiffs Chip Kelly, if that's where Kelly was trying to send Bradford for picks. He's trying to get too cute.

Apparently, according to Foles' camp, he's thrilled to be out of Philly.

 

And Shady said he's glad he's going somewhere he'll be appreciated.
