March 11, 201511 yr I've been a fan my entire life. I've lived through Dick Vermeil burning out, followed by the Marion Campbell years, Jerome Brown dying, and Randall blowing out his knee. Heck, Rich Kotite was our coach for a few years. It's been tough to be an Eagles fan. I've liked everything Chip Kelly has done to this point. But right now, I have no clue what he is doing. I kinda can understand Shady and Maclin. But now Gore does a 360 and goes elsewhere, and this trade for Bradford makes zero sense on any level. Bradford doesn't save them any money, doesn't make them any better and costs them draft picks. Plus you hear the reports that players aren't happy and glad to be leaving. Again, if he wins great. But if this blows up, this city will destroy Chip.
March 11, 201511 yr I'm right behind you. They've always been easy for me to root for. Not anymore. Peace. What the hell is a Chip Kelly doing? Chip Kelly is trying to run his Oregon style game in an NFL system which I think has no chance of working. They don't have the speed they need in the backfield and Bradford isn't a running QB. And as an Eagles fan, me staying on board or leaving depends on the first game of the season. :ohbrother:
March 11, 201511 yr I think Kelly tried to get way too cute last season and it backfired, and now they're making crazy, off the wall personnel decisions. I have no love lost for the Eagles outside of fantasy purposes, but last year made me HATE them due to fantasy purposes. It can all go that quickly from hero to goat, and I feel like Kelly is shuffling in that direction at light speed.
