And this line of thinking is a very slippery slope because the next stop (if you are an idiot like Carson) is the Military does the same thing. I do find it amazing that a man as accomplished as he is (a renowned pediatric neuro-surgeon...certainly not a dummy) would say something that stupid.

March 5, 201511 yr Yep. I'm willing to admit that my side comes out with ridiculous stuff as well. Your side is my side, lol. But, the one reason it makes the news more for the other side of the isle is some of them act and preach like they are saints and don't do anything wrong. Such as a few years ago the republican from Florida who was so against gay people, only to be exposed in a sex scandal with a male page. But as I said, it goes for both sides of the isle. I really want the republicans to find a viable candidate, but I think that would only be Bush, and I think that the country won't want three people from the same family being in the Whitehouse within about 25 years.

Joe Biden is a veritable fountain of stupidity and yet he is still considered a viable presidential prospect. Maxine Waters, Sheila Jackson Lee, Alan Grayson I could probably think of more.

How did they get a pass? They have been criticized for their stupidity when it occurred. Whether they apologize or not is irrelevant in getting a pass. Biden is not a viable candidate, hopeful maybe, viable no.

I admitted I had a problem about 20 years ago when I saw the errors of following the path to the left and veered right. Growing up is a wonderful thing.
