Something along the lines of he had another player or someone else come to the scene and pick him up before cops got there. He wasn't the one driving. Stacy Poole was with him as well...The best part of it was the car was a Cadillac Escalade. Nothing unusual with 20 year old kids cruising around in high end SUVs. :lol2: Assuming any of that is true, I imagine he wanted to get out of there before he got his name in the paper, while knowing Cal would tear him a new butthole for putting himself in that situation in the first place. Smart kid, imo. As far as the Escalade goes, if he wasn't driving it, it probably wasn't his. It s not that uncommon these days to know wealthy friends that were handed expensive cars the day they got their license. I graduated high school in '01 and it wasn't uncommon to see Mercedes, BMW's, Range Rovers, on the student parking lot. A girl I knew used to drive a Lotus to school. So I wouldn't put too much thought into a 20 year old kid being in a nice ride.

Prior to Quentin Snider, who I'm praying has enough good sense to keep his life in order and always at least seemed decent enough, his last two point guard recruits have been the absolute disasters of Kevin Ware (all for you, PP92) and Chris Jones.

The warrant, obtained by University of Louisville police, was signed Wednesday by Jefferson District Judge Katie King. The warrant says that one of the women was hospitalized Sunday and able to identify Jones as her assailant. One of the women is 19 and the other 20, according to the warrant. Jones, who was dismissed from the team Sunday, is expected to surrender in court on Thursday The alleged sexual assaults occurred on Saturday night, after Jones, who had been suspended earlier, then reinstated, led U of L to a home victory over Miami. The next day, the university without explanation said Jones had been kicked off the team, and Coach Rick Pitino said he was "finished." U of L police Lt. John Tarter, who swore out the warrant, described Jones as a flight risk. I knew he was a kid on the brink and he had some friends from back in Memphis that were serious trouble, but you never think someone's capable of this. Pitino should have sent him to live with the monks at Gethsemani every time he didnt have a game.
