April 26, 201511 yr In all seriousness, I heard that it's $100 for home viewing. Sports bars that choose to buy the PPV will pay in the thousands. They were asking $4K for one of my local bars to get it.
April 26, 201511 yr A good friend would share with his buddies.I will PM it to you, if you like. I have been told not to post links to sites like that on here.
April 26, 201511 yr They would have to pay me to watch it. Even if I was so inclined, why would I pay that kind of money to watch an event that could be over in one punch. There is no event, of any kind, that I would pay separately to watch on television.
April 26, 201511 yr I will PM it to you, if you like. I have been told not to post links to sites like that on here. 1) I wouldn't feel right doing it anyway. B) By the time that fight comes around, chances are at about 95 percent that I'll be hammered and ready for bed. I do Derby Day right and early. X) I've not watched a live fight in about 8 years. While I'll admit I've been looking forward to this one, I will skip it in protest of the fact that I don't want to spend my money on boxing until I get something more interesting than the freakin' Klitshcos (or however you spell those boring Russkie behemoths' name) in the heavyweight division. I love boxing, and I hate what it has become. Why do I love dying sports like boxing, baseball, horse racing and football so much?
April 26, 201511 yr Was going to go to a bar/restaurant to watch it but no one is showing it in Danville. That would mean me driving to Lexington to go to BDubs or something. By the time I round trip it to BDubs I'll have spent the 100 bucks it costs to watch it at home. I will be ordering the fight and throwing wings on the grill next Saturday and enjoying family, Derby and Mayweather/Pacquiao at my crib.
April 26, 201511 yr Everybody must want to be in Vegas for this. Interesting article on espn.com about hotels rooms jacking up their prices big time. MGM Grand is 2nd largest hotel in the world and long sold out at crazy prices with 2 night minimum. When the fighters are splitting 300 million and only 500 tickets went for sale to the public, you know they are taking in money big time.
April 27, 201511 yr No way. Mayweather is a foul human being. No $$ his way out of my pocket. Early tee time, get in 18 holes. Derby festivities well into the evening with a few mint juleps. Check in briefly on NFL draft. Check & see how inefficient Reds offense was on the day. Good sports day, followed by good night's sleep. Hopefully, with a winning Derby ticket in my wallet. Kills me ESPN staging from Vegas this week. Its Derby week !!!
April 27, 201511 yr If this fight had happened five years or more ago when I really cared about it, yeah I probably would have. As it stands, I don't really care any more about this bout than I do most other boxing... which is to say "Not at all."

I have very little interest in this fight at this point.
April 27, 201511 yr I feel the same way. Give me the Derby and I'll be happy. I have very little interest in this fight at this point. This fight not happening was one of the reasons I stopped following boxing, along with the collapse of the heavyweight division into the Klitschkos punching people senseless. Maybe someday there will be a couple guys that will drag me back in with their skill and absolute watchability... but I don't know where they're going to come from.
