I think we got your point...the only reason the Camels came back in this game was due to the refs. Whatever. Let's give the Camels credit for showing their heart and let's give Holmes credit for holding on for the win. This type of post is what makes me want to root against the posters team.

Now, congrats to the Bulldogs on a great season. Kudos to the Camels for hanging with the "dogs and finishing an excellent one, also.

I noticed that a lot of the Simon Kenton fans complained about the 10th region refs too. hmmmmm!

All your whining and complaining about refs is like beating a dead horse Captain. Take the compliments for a very impressive Holmes team. Too many turnovers and not hitting from the free throw line allowed the Camels to come back. I am sorry but an 8-2 foul advantage is really not much to cry about. I don't know why everyone thinks that foul totals should always end up being equal at the end of a quarter or game. Some teams just play a defense that can allow for more fouls.

 

I am not complaining about just fouls being called or not called. There was a lot more going on in this game besides foul totals, in terms of poor refing. If you don't like what I am saying you are free to not read it.

This game would not have been close if it was at Holmes the refs were terrible and the lady camels benefitted from numerous terrible calls shame on 8th region refs for what I viewed as intentionally trying to take this game from the lady bulldogs.

This is a 1st for me. I never ever seen 4 pages of whining about a game and the team won. The winning team wants "tapes" given to KHSSA and demands something be done, wow. What will happen once this team loses, will they want to shut down basketball?

Rule of thumb in basketball is, if your faster, more aggressive, the foul count at end of the game won't be even. Show us where in the rule book that the fouls must be even at the end of a game? Congratulate the opposing team and move on, for the ones who don't follow Holmes, your making your school look bad.

Simple solution. Don't schedule 10th region teams! You've had multiple accounts from multiple programs regarding your region's officiating. Stop the denial and do something about it , or you may find scheduling a bit more challenging in the future!
