Wife and I haven't tried out any of the pizza places in the 'ville since she moved there. But we will.
February 18, 201511 yr Yes, pretty much always unless it's just terrible crust. On a side note, I don't think it's a coincidence that Papa John's puts those dipping sauces in with their pizza. They know their crust is awful (as are their entire pizzas).

I really, really like Bearno's sauce. I don't like their crust. I'm a HUGE fan of Bearno's pasta dishes though. Their lasagna is the bombdiggity. The difference between Bearno's and Impelizzeri's crust is that Bearno's is more bland, which some people prefer. It's kind of dry too. I find the flavor similar to water crackers. Impelizzeri's is yeasty, and very crisp on the bottom and edges, and delightfully soft and chewy in the middle.

February 19, 201511 yr Best part of the pizza, I'll even eat your leftover crust. Back in my really poor days, that's exactly what I'd do for dinner. :lol2: A bunch of us would hit up the Gatti's buffet, and I'd eat all the leftover crusts. Also when the kids and I would order pizza, I'd just order 1 always knowing I'd have crust aplenty.
