Question just so I understand.... These players are all eligible for Mr. Basketball. Are kids who aren't on this list also eligible?

I could be wrong but the full list of candidates should be released tomorrow by the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation. That should answer your question.

My understanding is that any senior basketball player in the state is technically eligible regardless of these awards. Generally, coaches of the individual players will campaign for their players via the KHSAA coaches email listserv.

They both are deserving. Matlock had better stats, but stats aren't everything. Simmons has had the better year against the better opponents. He would get my vote, but Matlock would be a very close second.

Don't have them all but Camron Justice is the 14th Region player of the year

9th region, really, co players of the year? kinda weak.

Hagen Tyler is the 12th Region Player of the Year.

The complete list was put out a few weeks ago and discussed on this site, but Kyle Gullett got it for the 15th region. You can also go to the KABC website and find the list as well.
