I typically play several boxed trifectas with different horses I like and the favorites. Frosted and Materiality are two that I really like.
April 30, 201511 yr Always do about 3-4 Exacta boxes, and a couple other bets on some long shots. Think I may put a decent chunk down on AP to win though.
April 30, 201511 yr I don't think Mr. Z is a very good horse. The only thing he's going to do is have a weird start and quite possibly prevent AP from getting to the spot he wants. That's what gives me hesitation on AP with this draw. I'm putting my money on AP. If Mr. Z is all that AP has to worry about, I'll take my chances. My concern is that AP will have to go wide on the turns because of post position. Victor might try to get him out front early, and hope he's not out of gas down the stretch. This would also keep AP from having traffic problems.

April 30, 201511 yr Does anyone know if Belterra Park is open? Trying to figure out where to go to place my bets. I'm golfing at California on Saturday morning and Belterra is right down the street. Would really hate it if I had to go all the way to Turfway.

April 30, 201511 yr Aside from the top two favorites, I'm liking Materiality and Frosted. Plus Danzig Moon for a little darker horse.
