Your right there is no real wrong decision. We talk all the time about how QB's need to be developed. IMO Morgan has had the extra work..QB coaches outside of the season and in season. Just had more opportunity as far as overall development. O'hara is definitely the better scrambler/rusher. We can't knock Morgan for 1A and say Fielgler gets a pass on playing 1A.

For the record, I think Tanner wins the battle for QB and the fact that Aaron can excel at another position has a lot to do with it.

My train of thought about Aaron also. He could play at a number of positions and get on the field.

Fieger is easily #1 going into the season.

 

Hergott looks to be a beast at Highlands this upcoming year. I would have loved to see what he would have looked like this year if he had started over Hoge, but obviously, there's no arguing with starting Hoge. I'd probably put Hergott and Racke on par with each other and tied for #2 going into the season.

It's easy to rack up numbers when you're playing the likes of struggling 2A Holy Cross and a very below-average Conner team. SK scored 117 points in those two games alone, and like it or not, they weren't tough points to get.

Racke only played 2 quarters in both those games. 92 yards passing 2 tds and 48 yards rushing 2 tds against Holy Cross. 231 yards passing against Conner.

That I can think of we have one Frosh coach who has a kid on varsity. Rabe. Who are you referring too? Engler does not run the good o'l boy system and to insinuate that is a discredit to him.
