Who will be the Next best NKY QB?

Except Racke did that as a QB on 6A team that played down for 6 of their 10 regular season games. It's easy to rack up numbers when you're playing the likes of struggling 2A Holy Cross and a very below-average Conner team. SK scored 117 points in those two games alone, and like it or not, they weren't tough points to get.

Fieger got all of his stats QB-ing for Beechwood, a 1A team that played UP in 6 of their 10 regular season games.

Didn't Fieger play that same struggling HC team along with Dayton Ludlow and Bellvue?

I think Fieger is a very good quarter back I hope he has a great Senior year. Racke as a Sophomore was off the charts and he is only going to get better. He will have a huge Junior year.

I think the point trying to be made was that a 6A team should have less trouble with a 2A team than a 1A team playing the same 2A team whether that 2A team was struggling or not. I think both are fine young men and very talented QBs. For me to say that Fieger is the best I need to see proof that he can produce in high pressure situations. He seemed to be a bit rattled in the Mayfield game. I think another year of experience and some of the yips will disappear.

Along the same point this will be Morgans third year at the helm. But the consensus is he won't perform? It's obvious that peoples perception is biased either against Ryle or myself. That's OK though because neither of us are going away..

oh I know you're not talking... there isn't anything you haven't said.

You should really wait until he is named starter.

I've seen enough film, live games and camp workout to be 99% sure that barring injury he will be named the starter. JMO. You guys are really underestimating how good this kid is and how hard he has worked since 8TH gr. which was the last time most of you have seen him. I wish O'hara was a year younger if he really wants to be a QB. Those two being in the same class hurts him. He will play some DB or WR. The problem with all the underclassmen is that there are only a few that are going to get significant PT. This years team will be led by a roster full of seniors. Most that have been either starters or getting alot of PT, or waiting their opportunity this year. Good news is that most underclassmen will get another year to develop on JV. Some will play though, O'hara being one, Just not at Qb.

Another thought, Did you wait on Racke before touting him? If I recall right you were on him when he was the Jv QB. Kuntz was on varsity.

You better do some research. I wanted Heflin to start at quarterback last year.

Watch all the film you want. It will be the head coaches decision.

Thank you Captain Obvious......lol.. Every post on this forum should start with JMO. But that's obviously a given since none of us coach.

How can you say that publicly after carrying Racke's bags and equipment all year?

There is a lot of coaches on here.

That is no knock on Racke. Heflin is a good athlete and quarter back. I'm not mad Racke won the job he played awesome and he had a great back up QB. Heflin played awesome at WR/RB. I just wanted Heflin to get a chance he was stuck behind Kuntz the year before.
