February 2, 201511 yr Some of these Super Bowl halftime performer requests are hysterical. Clearly people don't understand what sells nowadays.
February 2, 201511 yr I assume there is already prop bets on who will be the halftime act for next season. Will be interesting to see "how high" they try to reach with it being #50 next season.

February 3, 201511 yr Just one year would like them to completely do away with the spectacle and over production and have maybe 4 people on a stage with a piano or guitar and sing a song or medley of their hits. Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Rod Stewart and Barbara Streisand(for the women) would be my choices. Paul McCartney did that and was my favorite halftime show yet. As far as this years, the stage I thought was the best part of the show. The stage was awesome.

February 3, 201511 yr My money is on Beyonce and Jay Z That would be a good pick, but she's already done it, and did it pretty recently. Have they ever had repeat acts? My money is they go after Taylor Swift. She's about as big as it gets in the music scene right now, and has huge mass appeal.

February 3, 201511 yr I was thinking about this yesterday and I agree on Taylor Swift, that would be a huge score for the NFL. Some friends and I were talking about the halftime show Sunday and one of them said they don't think she'd ever do one. Said she's too big for the Super Bowl. Brings up another question. Is there really such a thing as an artist/act being too big for the Super Bowl stage?

Brings up another question. Is there really such a thing as an artist/act being too big for the Super Bowl stage? One one hand I think she is too big but on the other hand my impression of Taylor is nothing is beneath her so she would in fact do it. And there shouldn't be such a thing as too big UK. Any artist is crazy for not taking that stage. Not only would I do it if I was Taylor Swift, I would do it for free (or at least expenses paid only).
February 3, 201511 yr I was not especially impressed with this display. Not enough skin. "The More You Know" worked for me, though. If a boob doesn't fall out somewhere, it's just not fun anymore.
February 3, 201511 yr If a boob doesn't fall out somewhere, it's just not fun anymore. Well don't count on Taylor Swift then, they were making a big deal she showed her belly button the other day
February 3, 201511 yr That would make for the most miserable halftime show I could ever imagine. If you say so,but I just watched the most miserable halftime show I could ever imagine. I will stick with Iron Maiden and football...:ylsuper: [video=youtube_share;aMPWFT0vKV0]
