Wowza. Where did you play and what sports?

Not sure?? But Jayhawk seems to rings a bell. Maybe "Meat Head Rob Lowe took too many hits playing football and throwing pieces of metal objects in the air like the Neanderthal I am". As DG21 would say. Awesome game tonight!! Thought Highlands would win by 3, but knew the last 2 min didn't look good. Great job Dawgs, love the grit and determination. Lady Birds held their own.

Gotcha. KU.

Very exciting game, first off, sure hope the young lady from Highlands is ok, wishing her the best, lots of respect. For Highlands, fist time I have seen this this year, lots of nice players and We'll coached, it was a regional type feeling,Have to give the Bulldogs a lot of credit, it looked like a blow out was coming, but they never gave up and played with a lot of heart, there is no big two , like others have said , think The three H's, Holmes, Highlands and Holy Cross Are the top three, but Ryle is very good, Noter Dame and Boone are always dangerous, great win for the Bulldogs, good luck to both teams, if you was not there, you missed a good one.

Use some periods please!

My Ex squated 400 pounds, deadlifted 440' ran a 5.4 forty, had a national HS record before leaving HS. I've got 2 girls at home that both squat over 325.

400? Wow. Big girl?

Agreed! Extremely impressed with the comeback. They did not give up. It was kinda fun to watch even from our side.

Honestly, this past week just proves what everyone in these programs knew...there are 3 really good teams in the 9th. Everyone outside of the 9th can talk all they want...I'm extremely impressed with all 3 teams. Just about any other year in the 9th, each one of these teams walk away with the 9th region title. This year...it will be a dog fight (no pun intended).

I agreed this years Regional Tournamnet will be very interesting to watch. All three have a shot at taking the title.

Will playing on a bigger floor be a factor in these games? Like strategy wise?

Be careful, women don't like that word, "big", lol. But yes, 6'0 and no push over. Varsity letter in 4 sports, National HS record holder in the Discus at one time, I guess her coach who coached Randy Barnes world record holder in the shot put would say so as well. ;)

Wow........Ok then, about the game........ First kudos to Holmes on a nice comeback and thrilling win. Both teams played without starters and coupled with foul issues, they played with new rotations. Obviously both teams answered the call to their respective benches. I thought Zoie Barth played really well having to log some serious minutes. I think a major turning point was when Graves fouled out with just under three minutes left. She is key to their press break and you could see the shift/struggle to advance the ball. Pretty physical game especially early, HHS won the free throw portion of the game. Thought Holmes did nice job on O boards/ second shots. Great atmosphere and game to witness. Tubbs & Leigh on the floor would make the matchup even more intriguing next time! Hope to see them play again.

The dawgs were winded by the last 2 min of the first half. Highlands has a very intense conditioning program during practice on top of their time in the weight room. I think the bigger court will be the advantage for the birds come the 9th. Even HC, their bigs were struggling. With Highlands depth and rotation, I rarely see anyone coming off winded.

My whole comments were about the game, players, athletes in general, it's about opinions, it's about athletes putting in the work, and those who comment that act like they know what it's like to win or lose by 2 points then say one is more dominant than the other. No, I didn't give you stats on shots, fouls, but pay attention to the game, know it's more about heart, and drive, and what it takes to be a champion. Arm chair players criticizing but not knowing what it takes to do what those girls did tonight. The work in the gym, off season workouts.... Maybe those who talk garbage may actually educate themselves in what it takes to be great, and that's what those girls did tonight.

And why use my quote as part of your muse to start your opinions that had nothing to do with what I said. I didn't break you down, I didn't come after any players or teams. If You have something to say, say it. If you dont like what I have to say, ignore it, like it, move on, you'll come across being more intelligent, rather than picking at someone elses comments trying to be-little or undermine it, by saying "wow.... Ok then, about the game". Who made you "Captain O Captain" of BGP?

Quick someone break out the popcorn. This is starting to turn good.

Great win for the dawgs, Hope Leigh is ok, RCC if you can give us an update never good when someone leaves for an injury especially a head injury
