Since it would not be smart to share the information with others, I have to assume it was someone from Roger Bacon. Very unprofessional, could it hurt their future applications?

Not trying to flex any muscle, I use that line myself, doesn't change the facts.

Regardless, CCH wouldn't have had to hear that he had applied to know he was out there applying and looking. He was unhappy. I was told his wife couldn't even sit near the CCH fans because of how disgusting they acted and the things they said. It's been that way for at least a decade now and you can see it in the turnover and the results. When my family was there, I was at every football, basketball, and baseball game. And it never failed, people were so rude and awful about the coach, the kids, whatever (I'll caveat that with no one was ever rude or disrespectful about Coach K). I had to restrain myself when people commented on my brother (I wasn't always successful)-in fact at his final game as QB his senior year I was incredibly disgusted at the words and actions out of the JV QB's father as my entire family sat next to him. He called and apologized eventually, but it was a complete mircocosm of how entitled and disrespectful people got over sports at CCH.

 

NOTE: It was not all parents and kids. There are some great people down there, but the bad are REALLY bad. I have no idea if my family feels or views it the same way I did (Saying this because I think a group of you know who I am and who my family is and MY words are reflective of me only).

 

I think what needs to be realized and has not yet been accepted by the unruly down there is...you're not a premier job at this point. You're an underpaying job with a difficult group of parents and more drama and baggage than it's worth. There is a reason the turnover is so great. Coaches can deal with talent pool dips and developing talent. They have trouble with the other stuff. CCH is a wonderful place, but it needs to come back down to earth a bit. You should be supporting your coaches, the kids, etc.

One of the BOKC people with CovCath connections said the principal gave Wirth an order to let go of 2-3 assistants and Wirth refused. That is why he is out, according to one of the BOKC folks with inside to CovCath doings.

If he went to great lengths to keep it a secret then why would he tell someone who has it out for him? I mean if it was a secret then it had to be someone he told right? If not then it would be someone at Roger Bacon.

 

I guess we would need to know who at Roger Bacon knew Wirth applied and of those people which one(s) of them know anyone inside CovCath.

 

Next I would look for anyone from CovCath that has it in for Wirth.

This has been covered in other threads. When the head coach goes, so do the assistants. Now whether none, some, all of those assistants come back is up to the new head coach- and obviously dependent on whether they want to come back or not.

 

The football team has continued its off season training at school with the oversight of school admins. After this week the team will attend ASAP until the new staff is on board and training can resume at school.

Wouldn't the potential future employer call the current employer to inquire about any pertinent issues in reviewing the candidate and his background? Seems to me like that would be the "leak"

It's been addressed in other threads. ASAP Training out of Covington is being paid to run Cov Cath's weight and conditioning program for the time being.

 

I would assume that Coach Wirth's staff of assistant coaches are out, and that the return of any of the his assistants would be determined by the whomever the new coach ends up being and whether or not he brings them back (and also assuming it's not one of the coaches that Rowe and Wirth had agreed wouldn't return).
