Being at the bar under aged was not condoned by anybody. Neither was anyone else who was there underage including the EKU players.

 

Being involved in the air soft gun incident at UK also was not condoned by anyone on here.

Looking at the video I am more confident than you are that Drew wasn't even talking to the punk who sucker punched him. He wasn't even looking at him.

 

Do us all a favor, watch the dorm video again, you will notice as soon as the punk who sucker punched Drew came into the building he saw Drew and took off his short or jacket as if getting ready to fight. So Drew didn't even have time to say anything to the guy, the guy was already wanting to fight.

First of all that guy walked in the door, removed his "I can't breathe" hoodie, and walked straight over to Barker and hit him when he wasn't looking. I'm trying to imagine a scenario where that is justified.

 

I'm not trying to imply that barker is 100% innocent or that he didn't make a poor decision by being there but there is nothing on the videos to suggest he was the aggressor or instigator in either situation.

Now while I have already said all the players were wrong for being at a bar underage. Some people on here who have acted like players or star players at any program just sit around and concentrate on their sport all night is just being unrealistic. You can go to any college and even The National Champion OSU buckeyes I probably can guarntee all their star players and all three qbs have gone out to many parties at night where alcohol is involved. Where something like a fight like this could happen just as easily. All it takes is one drunk becoming an aggressor and doing something. So the players were wrong on both sides being underage at a bar. However please Dont act like players are not going out to parties all the time at night at all schools including star players. If every daddy took their kid off the team for going out at night like ukfan suggested then there would be no football players on a team. Some people have clearly forgot what college was like.

 

All the players were wrong for being in a bar underage. However based off this video the eku player started it all and even charged at them. Could the UK players have thrown a couple less punches once he was thrown to the ground. Maybe however none of us know if the guy was still being aggressive and trying to get back up at them or not. Then at the dorm that was just a straight up sucker punch, not sure how anyone can try to defend that. Its not like he got in Drew's face calling him out about the bar, it was just a straight sucker punch to one of the most recognizable UK players. So not sure how anyone could try to say other wise unless they have a bias against a certain player like one poster on here.

I saw where the Madison County Grand Jury decided not to indict. Is this a case of the folks of Richmond taking care of their own? The EKU player was the aggressor in the bar fight and an EKU player sucker punched Drew. Seems to me like if the Grand Jury didn't indict that there is some home cooking going on. Did they all have on their EKU Football sweatshirts that day or did they wait until they got home to put them on?
