Wilmington plays Wayne this Sat

Very impressive win by Covcath.

They are playing like a top 5 team in the state right now.

Say what you want but until someone proves otherwise Covington Catholic is the team to beat right now. I'm not a Cov Cath guy and I'm from Central KY but they have some impressive wins this season and seem to be getting better every week.

Doesn't get any easier. Ballard on the road Friday.

How strong were those blocks late in the game?

How strong were those blocks late in the game?

Both against the WH studs. Great help D by Romes.

The WH commentators couldn't get over the CCH defense. Funny listening to their call before during and after.

They never give up, and they never back down.

They go into each game expecting to win no matter who they're playing, and a belief that no team is out of their reach.

Game is not over until the final horn sounds, and if they are ever behind in a game they will fight back hard with complete belief that they will turn it around, and pull out the "W", and if they happen not to, then they use it to learn from.

Some teams might boast D1 recruits, and on paper look to be the favorite, but this Colonel bunch is the definition of "DIE-HARD TEAM" with the BEST COACH in high school basketball that you're ever gonna find.

A tough rated team that doesn't know what they are going up against might look at them and think "We Got This", and if they do they'd be sadly mistaken.

You never can count the Colonels out.

I watched the last 20 seconds or there abouts and during the timeout these guys were discussing CovCath as the 2014 Ky State Champs.....then they had to throw in, well they are a private school and we are public.:ohbrother: It's fun how they think the NKY privates are pulling in players from all over hells half acre.....Unbelievable Andy Mac.

Was that game added? I thought they played PRP?

UC assistant Larry Davis stopped by a Covcath practice over the summer and told Fredrick he liked Coop more than CVH. Tough kid.

Sounds like a great win. Interesting to note that CCH scored exactly ZERO 2nd chance buckets.

Sorry. I think you're right. PRP.
