Well, if Duffy didn't leave until after the '93 season, then maybe it was Duffy, because I think the season I am thinking of was '93. I thought that was Dale's first season for some reason. I thought Duffy left after winning the state title in '92. But, I'm far from a Highlands football historian.

It was 1994 - Dale's first year. 42-6 at HHS and 7-3 at CCH in playoffs.

Yeah, I would scratch Dale from you wish list especially after what I was told this week at National signing day at Highlands.

 

Heard Dale is taking his show to the road and recently just did a speaking engagement out West (Montanta or Oregon) not sure to about 300 coaches on how to coach HS kids and get the most out of the talent of your kids...

 

What a gig for a HS football legend...Guy has it going on now, people are going to pay him good money now just to hear his stories of how Dale beat Goliath again and again. Just think we got to see him do it at Highlands for 19yrs for free and now he is going to tell his stories:thumb:
