Great game. Mason came back second half and made it a game. Lex Cath tired to give it away in the final minutes by missing Ft, by very good Ft shooters.

Always good to see the Randy Parker family and had the ultimate pleasure of meeting mcpapa and sumoroyal!

 

My belly is full from too much popcorn and it's an hour drive home. Glad I'm not driving!

Mason could not make a shot in the first half and Lex. Catholic made everything including banking in a three. Second half had a chance but every time Mason had costly unforced turnovers or missed wide open three's. Henry held to a season low 13 points.

I have seen Mason County 3 times this season and I am just not sold on them heading to Rupp as the 10th's rep without a challenge or 2 from somebody. Henry has got to find a way to get more touches and create more for himself.

Good, because most everybody else is not sold on them either. Any of 4-5 teams could just as easily cut down the 10th nets and make it to Lexington.

Other than a healthy Campbell County, Who in the 10th can play with them right now, not saying that won't change, but I don't see anyone else stepping up....

Once again, Mason County loses (to a team that is ranked higher than them by the way) and all of the MC haters on BGP begin to criticize. The Royals are still a level ahead of any other team in the region. Does anyone remember what they did to Campbell County? AT Campbell County. They're the sole best team in the 10th region and lost to a top-15 team by 4 (without a starter). Put LexCath on the court with any other team in the 10th and its a double-digit W for LC 100% of the time.

I agree with all your saying(except for the MC hater part), but you take Henry out of the fold and they just don't scare you like the Royals teams of old. Did they have all their players tonight, seemed like they were missing one or two

LexCath was at full strength.

Tale of two halves tonight. Royals couldn't throw it in the ocean and struggled against the zone. Henry's touches very limited. Came out in the second half with more intensity. Made it quite an entertaining game by early in the 4th quarter. Sumo nailed this one - several chances to at least tie, but costly turnovers.

 

Ultimately it was the slow start that did the Royals in.

 

Once again, the schedule doesn't get any easier as Holmes comes to The Fieldhouse on Tuesday.

Spent the post-game meal at Pasquales with Randy Parker and his dorky (inside joke) family. Spent ost of that time listening to Augusta-Brossart updates and flipping coins to determine the 10th Region 2-10 rankings in the next weekly update. Not sure anything was settled.
