I'm glad Willis got some time but he needs to make plays if he wants more opportunities. Still think he needs to add strength but he's still young, be aggressive young man.

For a guy that doesn't get many minutes, he played pretty good in my opinion. I was watching him like a hawk because I like to see what he is capable of. He did force a couple of shots, one of which that would have been a bucket if Lee didn't fall into him. But what I liked was his defense. I know the kid can shoot the ball, so I was more concerned about his defense. To keel it simple, I liked it. He will eventually get more minutes and become a great player, imo.

Nowadays I just assume that whenever Booker shoots the ball that it's going to go in. The kid is one of the purest shooters I have ever seen.

Agreed, when the kid squares up he is money. The best I've seen in a long time.

I would say the best shooter at UK since Doron Lamb.

On the "what can they do better" conversation, I agree with Kara Lawson (whoever that is) in what she said today - the Cats need to develop more of a low post scoring threat on offense. They really don't have anyone yet that you can get the ball to in the low post one on one and know they are going to make a move and score - not consistently.

As far as a pure shooter, I believe he is better than Lamb.

Thought the same the first time I saw him as a sophomore in high school. Smooth, mechanically perfect form and release. He could hit at a 50% clip over a full season and I wouldn't bat an eyelash...

You must be smarter than I thought...

Just kidding. I believe you are right in your assumption. The kid has near perfect form when he squares up.

We may not agree all of the time, but I dont doubt that you are good at what you do.

The beauty of my business? Figuring out the kids that do things at an elite level is VERY easy if you have even the slightest idea what you are doing. Seeing that form from Booker was not much different than the first time I saw Anthony Davis and knew right away he was better than everyone else in the gym. Elite skills are easy to find. The fun is in finding a kid like UC freshman Gary Clark that goes mostly under the radar in a remote gym playing for a small time AAU squad...

I liked how Andrew at least played under control and was a pass 1st player too. So much better for him and this team.

I too loved Booker the first time I saw him in AAU. Really wanted him at UK.

Booker is the best shooter I have witnessed at UK.

As a team UK is shooting over 45% on threes since the UNC game.
