Dozer so your saying removing a teams top player, I'm saying top player because that is what I have heard from sometime on here, makes them better?

If so, then please explain Scott's coaches the past two years. Is the transfer the issue? Or.... Was its some of Scott's current players? Or better yet some of the same parents that show their jealousy on here daily?

Anytime i hear thing like this i place it know further than the coach. They control playing time and personnel.

Your logic basically is saying the Chicago bulls are better off without Jordan. Stretch analogy. Well if she is being recruited by everyone that I've heard on here and including Scott's own words last year then it's not a stretch at all

Wow, Jordan? That's not a stretch that's absurd. And I believe they did win a title or 2 after Jordan retired.

a comparison between two things, typically on the basis of their structure and for the purpose of explanation or clarification.

Thought this would help..... I think you understand the word stretch used in conjunction with analogy

After all the above I FINALLY find it necessary to chime in.

I find it strange that we are still talking about the Sk loss to Scott, but.....since we are, there are a few things that must be straightened out. It seems to me that Scott supporters want nothing more than to keep this thread going . I was at the game and saw what Scott supporters didn't want to.

The foul count was , in fact lopsided. Anytime team A goes to the line 3 times as much as team B theres an issue and I dont care what level you're at.Scott supporters will naturally play that off as being a "non issue" because lets face it, the won. Anyone who KNOWS anything at all about basketball, will indeed tell you it's a major factor in the outcome of any game when that happens.

What I witnessed from the announcements of the starting lineups til the final horn was nothing short of an attempt to "show Ally Neice" that she made the wrong decision to attend Sk. When she was announced and made her way to the refs and then to Coach Klette, It became very apparent by Coach Klette's action that there was hard feelings.

I want to be clear on this.....Scott supporters claim that the team is better off without Neice. Is that parents trying to convince themselves, or does that come from the coach. If its from the coach, I personally have a problem with that. If coach Klette truly is ok with the transfer and she truly has these young ladys best interest at heart, the mature thing to do would have been to give her a hug and wish her the best. You think corny....maybe....but it would of spoke volumes about Coach Kleete . Instead, she sent a clear message to the fans and reinforced to her team the deep sededed grudge she holds on to.

This was not a game against Sk, this was a game against Neice & Buckner. I include Buckner as she is also a transfer from Scott, that is progressing nicely and could have helped Scott.

I saw a couple instances throughout the game when Sk had unforced turnovers and coach came out of her seat clapping and cheering. Really?

I saw the drenching the coach after the game with the water cooler....Really? What championship did you just win?Why would the players deem it necessary to drench the coach after a regular season game if they hadn't been led to believe that this was more than just a game? Previous posts have stated that this is a heated county rival with only a few miles separating the two schools . My guess is that Scott supporters will indeed defend this "heated rival " theory as to the reason for the drenching. Ok, you have a right to think that. My question to you then is this. The night before Sk played Dixie and came away with a hard fought victory. They are a county rival yet there was no "drenching" of the coach! Why you ask? Because the fact of the matter is Sk was not playing Neice.....It was a regular season game.....and the win was just another win......nothing tied to it.

Funny how in the days since the meeting between Sk and Scott Sk was fortunate enough to bounce back and beat a pretty good Cooper team. Scott, on the other hand, was defeated by a Conner team which I am sure they were picked to beat. Maybe the coach didn't personally scout Conner as hard as she did Sk. Saw her 2 times that I know of at recent Sk games. Isn't scouting a team more than once... rather odd...especially for a regular season game, and in the days Hudl? Anyway ....where are all the Scott supporter posts about the loss to conner. Kinda anti- climatic. My guess is that Klette had her team so hyped up with the Scott vs. Neice game she failed to have her and her team ready for a "not so important opponent. No transfer on the conner team!

As you can tell I am not a Klette fan now , nor was i ever. Has nothing to do with this particular game.....has to do with previous encounters with her and coaching standards.

Now I know I have ruffled some "Eagle" feathers but so be it. I have the right to state my opinions as do you.

By all appearances, given the water cooler victory, Scotts season is now complete.

Since SK will have played 2 games since this one and Scott one, how about we move on by saying that SK has a great chance to with the 8th region, and Scott has a great chance to win the 10th. Lets celebrate the success of both programs and consider the prospects of Kenton County sending two teams to Bowling Green. Good luck to both teams moving forward.

After all the above I FINALLY find it necessary to chime in.

Not a fan of either school but have met plenty players and fans of these schools along the way what you are saying here is true to a point! When a player is given the opportunity that Niece was given at Scott and the things that where said about Niece are said and she transfers practically quits on that coach and those players thinking she is jumping ship to a better team that's has a chance of winning it all with a great coach, of course Scott is going to wanna put it on SK any team in that situation would want to do the same thing! Can I blame Niece for the move she made? No but that being said she's a year or so late on the move the players at SK now are not the players of SK the last few years!

If I can find it I do believe there is an article of Nieces father stating how loyal him and his daughter are to the Scott program and that they're not going anywhere but bringing Scott a state title? Sounds like SK had this one coming to them!

First off, it looks like the Scott haters are the ones continuing this thread the last several pages.

It is sad really. Let a team enjoy a win. It did mean a lot to them. Let them celebrate. Who are you to say how and how much is necessary.

They played well. They won. End of story.

Most importantly I would say that Coach Klette has handled being stabbed in the back quite well.

If you dislike her, leave. You don't have to keep complaining as you are walking out the door (and months beyond).

All you haters have hated for a long time...about the time that she moved Neace up and tried to do what was best for an athlete and a program.

Ironic that this is what you are all so passionately defending. That athlete. That varsity experience.

Coach WAS promised the long run (many heard it and it WAS in the papers) She was lied to and manipulated. She was used as was the program/school. Did she have a part in that? Certainly. Decisions are made on teams everyday and you do so based on what you know to be true. The leaving and HOW it was done was wrong. But so be it. Its over. And you don't have to defend all the reasons you think it was a good move for her. It was their decision and they have every right to it. As do the Eagles have every right to celebrate their team.

The Lady Eagles move on. Don't be bitter if they have some success (I'm sure you would have rather seen them fail).

Don't keep telling them they would be better off with players who are gone.

Don't shame their fans for trying to be positive about their girls and their program.

They deserve their own success. Those girls have talent and speed, and heart. It IS to be celebrated.

If you want to celebrate your team by all means do so. But why does it have to be at the downfall of Scott?

Good luck SK. Enjoy your athletes. Enjoy your games.

I'm not a fan of either team but this post sounds like a whiny SK fan. A lopsided foul count is sometimes part of the game. Unless you are blatantly accusing the refs of being dishonest then deal with it.

You speak of coach Klette's action before the game but you never stated what it was? You stated that giving her a hug and wishing the best would have spoke volumes. I agree 100% but that should happen after the game. Before

The game she is the enemy. Maybe that's a little harsh but that's my opinion. I'm guessing no one on SK's side was feeling huggy kissy after the game.

As far as the coach telling her team they are better off without a player that chose another team over theirs...of course that's what she should say. What's the alternative?

I will give you the water cooler drenching. That is a little over the top. Probably should act like you been there before even if you haven't.

Go figure....out scouting an opponent...rather odd....right there must make her a bad coach..like Stowers and staff scouting Niece at an AAU tournament out of season...rather odd. Geez Jabba, come up with something other than sour grapes.

OK that's just silly. I looked at each teams schedules and noticed at this point only one common opponent in Ryle. Scott lost to them by 30ish and SK beat them by 30ish so that really blows that theory out of the water. I agree that I think SK would have additional losses but I'm not sure as many. But as the score above and the head to head result shows you the true nature of girls basketball. I am by no means saying this is the case but I also happened to notice this was SK's 3rd game in 4 nights. hmmmmm.

Also, your last comment regarding the player is I agree with you 100%. And if they are better off, then they should be questioning their coach. From what I know Scott's current coach was the coach when the player played at Scott so if the team is better without her then the coach is the only one to blame. Not the kid.

At the end of the day, all teams have high's and lows. Time will tell if SK just simply was gassed or if they are the real deal. I think the same is said for Scott from that I was told a whole lot of emotion was poured out including the drenching of the coaches (not sure you should do that on hard wood floor or for a regular season game but.... it's all about having fun). Good coaches challenge their teams this time of year because in the end the whole purpose is to make your teams better by challenging them to run as deep as possible in the post season.

Enjoy the show!

Didnt know about the gatorade shower, now that is funny! Scott and SK be thankful that you have good players, good coaches, and good teams.

I can only imagine the PMs some of you all must be getting from a SK guy on here. Haha. Lets end this Scott won played better were coached better. Both teams have moved on how about us adults do the same.
