Ahh...Don't be to hard on yourself. Just that NKY emphasis again.

Yeah but you're going to have to face referres every game, they may have made bad calls, but I'm sure they were on both sides... You can't always blame loses on referees.Scott seemed to come over that obstacle, as SK not so much. You have to play through everything.

I did not blame the loss on the referees I was just saying but everytime Simon Kenton plays at Scott they have to play 8 on 5.

Tonight was about SK not being able to guard on defense, and protect the three point line. They showed very little defensive effort tonight and it caught up with them. But they have a day to sit down and see what happened the past 2 nights to figure it out.

....and on a side note.....E-town beat Scott by 23!

Yes. Scott has been busy losing and learning against teams like E town and Sacred Heart. Made them better. Made them stronger. Undefeated? No. Getting stronger? Yes. Great win Lady Eagles!!!!

SK was out played and out coached tonight. Dont blame refs. Take the L move forward get better. Congrats to the Eagles.

Out coached ?????? sorry I needed a good laugh I didn't know coaches scored the points.

Congrats to Scott on a big win for them. Those girls had to be juiced for this one.

If Scott got that many free throws, I am not surprised. SK's defense likes to push the boundaries/limits on "fouls". They are going to have those nights when they can't get away with it. Perhaps this was one of them.

Great win Lady Eagles !!! Enjoy the win and keep working hard !!!

Do coaches score points..? No. Do they get their girls ready and come up with a strategy to come out on top? Yes. There is such a thing of being out coached. It happened tonight. Coach Klette has done a great job with these girls this year.

So what does Scott do to make sure the refs call the games their way? Do they pay the refs better or make sure only Scott grads work the game?? Where was the home cooking last time Scott played SK at home when SK beat them by 30?? Or do the refs provide help on defense or set screens for Scott.

.

8 on 5 and not crying about the refs??? A contradiction of statements. Fouls were almost even.

Congrats Lady Eagles on the win. Take nothing away from SK. They are one heck of a team and Bosse is a machine around the boards. In the end this was about a selfless team effort by the Lady Eagles, distributing the ball, playing solid defense and dominating the boards (Tori Dant was an absolute beast tonight).

Hopefully this finally puts to rest all the preseason comments about how one individual leaving hurt one program more than it benefitted another.

Best of luck to the girls at SK for the rest of the season.

Halftime: Scott 48-38. 3-pointers: SK 4 (Schmiade 4, Harney, Gilliam, Niece), Sc 7 (Trimpe 4, Brennan, Clephane, Stapleton).

The only thing I am going to say tonight is that SK was 7/11 for FT's Scott was 23/31 for FT's um evenly called game????? guess not

But you know the thing about this game is that it doesn't effect the outcome for the Lady Pioneers!!!!this wasn't a regional game or district game.

But SK was beat by the better team TONIGHT. SK had no defensive effort for 2 nights straight and it was going to come around and bite them and tonight was the night.

But I will give credit where credit is due. Congrats on the Win Lady Eagles you fought hard!!!!

It DOES effect the outcome....you can no longer say you are undefeated.

Congrats to the Lady Eagles and tough loss for the SK Pioneers, but they will become a stronger team from this. I would assume that it wasn't the referees' fault that they lost either. Seems like the Eagles have adapted their philosophy to be more team-centered instead of player-centered, which is definitely paying off for them, that's awesome! Kudos to the Eagles. Good luck to both the teams for the rest of the season.
