Covcath was decent that year, but had enough "blow outs" that he likely would've seen the floor enough to get there.

If they were good enough, yes.

 

Todd Jacobs and Kurt Bovard both played a lot as sophomores as did Thelen and I believe Maile as well. Listerman gets a lot of criticism for his final years at Covcath (I agree there were some attitude issues) but realistically the Colonels didn't have much talent during those years. When he had talent, he won at Covcath. A coach is only as good as the talent he has, regardless of how anyone tries to spin it.

 

Listerman is giving regular minutes to a freshman (Raavai Commodore) and sophomore (Jaiden Greene) at Holmes right now.

 

If he had a kid like Ruthsatz or CVH as freshmen, I can guarantee they'd be getting minutes. CVH likely starts as a freshman regardless of where he is last year...save for MAYBE Newcath.
