Holmes 93 Scott 77

Featured Replies

Bolden scored when he wanted to. Missed a couple off balanced shots near the rim but really didnt look for his shot much because of how well McClendon, Mullins, & Avery were playing.

With all do respect Walter, I was seated behind the bench. Bolden was visibly upset in many timeouts because he couldn't get what he was looking for. Coach Listerman did do a great job though calming him down telling him to "work harder on the defensive end".

It was obvious when Scott sent 2 and 3 guys at him it was starting to tick him off. He did have a few nice assists as well as assist the alley oop to Avery.

That is a bit much. He seemed to miss a lot of shots.

Now that could be classified as bashing..

It was a good game and great win for Holmes. What I didnt like was the trash talk from Holmes towards Ohmer. It was uncalled for.

Scott was led by Ohmer with 24 & 10 ( 4 of 16 shooting)

Ohmer had more then 4 buckets.

He missed some shots, but no way he missed 12.

He missed a ton in the 2nd half; not much was falling for any of the Eagles then.

I saw most of 3 quarters and thought Bolden never forced anything and looked in most cases to pass first. Holmes has a hard working team and the other guys seemed happy to take the bulk of the shots. The physical nature it takes to battle Holmes from beginning to end was too much for Scott to handle. They got good looks in the second half as they did the in the first but those shots just wouldn't fall. Next week's game between the two should be pretty similar.

Bolden missed several wild contested layup/floaters that hit the backboard but other guys were there to clean it up on the glass.

He was talking also, which was uncalled for on both ends.

McClendon was very impressive & I thought Mullins was pretty solid as well. Impressive 3rd quarter run by Holmes put the game away. I think a 14-0 run is what they put together at one point.

My first time seeing Bolden play, which is in part why we went. He was okay.

First half was played at a frenetic pace, which was really fun to watch, but as Walter said, Holmes seemed to wear down the Eagles.

4-16 FG was what the stat sheet says that I have.

Didn't look at the 3FG or FT's,,,I'll post his official stat line in the morning.

Yeah...no big deal if Holmes players were talking trash to Ohmer and no problem with Ohmer giving back. It has been part of the game forever and will continue to be.
